Maybe cus the people u talk about speak the bahasa language without a dialect? What do you expect lmao athisha's kelate, are those youtubers in Selangor and KL supposed to have a dialect and accent?
Nope, I don’t think people expect ducky to speak in dialect but at least don’t make it sound ridiculous. It’s so embarrassing seeing a malay showing difficulty in speaking her mother tongue and being proud . Be proud of our bilingual background kay. I know Atisha here might find it difficult to speak in formal bahasa bcos she mainly grow up using Kelantan dialect in her household, that’s fine bcos here she is embracing her roots. She’s not embarrassed of it. Viewers learn to appreciate Kelantan dialect in a way as well. So are u saying that lady with bahasa challenge actually grow up speaking in full english. That just sad. So she never actually mingle with mak cik at pasar malam or what?? While people speaking in 5 languages able to speak Malay just fine (or maybe at least the Dialect they grow up with).

I love how they perform solat isyak. Depa solat dengan cara yang betul, which is tunggu imam habis lafaz. Baru dapat pahala 27 untuk jemaah. Setengah orang solat berimam, tapi rukuk sujud sama laju dengan imam, which is dapat 1(pahala macam solat sendiri) and ada lebih laju dari imam, which is tok imam tak sempat lafaz lagi dia dah sujud rukuk dulu, that dapat 0( which is takdapat pahal jemaah).

From a kelantanese POV, her dialect is still 50-70%, her mom sounds local, but hers, neelofa, ameera etc, sound 50% Kelantan 50% Malay. Not a bad thing tho. You should check out syahmi sazli/yoe channel for a better overview of how the dialect is spoken.
