Yes, but that $4 bought you a whole lot of respect in the industry. The buyer was honest about not receiving the book even though it was his own carelessness. You did the right thing. Now, have you ever found a way to rid old books of that nasty musty smell?

Okay John, here's my advice on your playlists: I love the idea of keeping them sorted by year because your channel is consistent. By that I mean your content really doesn't change. No Go-Pro at the Goodwill Bins looking at your hands, going through mounds the of unknown, never knowing if you will ever see them in the same condition again!! Now if you happen to post a special holiday video or other type of special video (I know you've had at least 1, the packaging video & there may have been another), then you could do another playlist for those as well BUT...Here's my biggest issue with your Playlist lists. IMO They are going in the wrong order. People who want to watch your newest video can go straight to the videos tab which automatically places them in descending order, newest to oldest. People who go to the Playlist tab usually want to start at the beginning of your TH-cam channel⁹. And the way you've set it up, it's impossible to do that. Are you able to tweak it so oldest stuff is at the top 1st? Very 1st video you ever made in 2021 being 1st on 2021's Playlist, #2 being #2, etc? Maybe it's just Android phones but we don't have the option to sort & filter that way. So if I want to binge you I have to Benjamin Button it & it's kind of awkward!! I'd much rather watch you grow and succeed! Not to mention it's been a while since I've seen some episodes, so I've forgotten some of the stuff you're talking about when you say "in the last video", but in this order, it's actually the next. You are a good ebay reseller for paying the postage. You can write the cost off in tax deductions anyway. The $4 is good customer service and worth every penny. I have bought items from an ebay seller who basically refused to cancel an order as I was mistaken in what the item was, I needed a real soccer card for my nephew b day and the item was "Digital". In the end only got half my money back, so for $10, this guy lost my business forever and I can't recommend him selling anything to anyone.
How does a viewer buy your books, do you provide the book's ebay link or to your store name? For the books that sold $50+, were the prices on eBay on that range? Would also request one link to one of your books to see how you list it. Thanks in advance/

I think I would have refunded and relisted the book and had the guy rebuy the book. That way he would have paid for the shipping.
