You don't even need a socket, turning the wrench at an angle fixes the issue. Only someone that has never used one would try to turn the bolt perpendicular to the wrench.

Given that's a pre-drilled hole like you do with bolts. Then unless you have some type of physical problem. There should be no struggle whatsoever. Lining the hole up and slowly turning it. Until you get a good feel then go a little faster. That being said, he was putting it in wood. So if it starts getting hard to turn. It's better to stop before you split the wood. Because chances are the hole is not deep enough. Or you bought the wrong size bolt

We didnt use them all the time but we used to buy reusable zipties. Just press the metal clip down and it would release.
Or just use your thumb nail to undo the latch like a normal person

Why not use a socket that is the same measurement as the wrench.
Use the RING SPANNER properly and you don't need the socket or this bullshit.
You don't even need a socket, turning the wrench at an angle fixes the issue. Only someone that has never used one would try to turn the bolt perpendicular to the wrench.

I always use the small size swiss army knife blade to pry open zip ties. Although the tweezers might work too.
