I would recommend hunting in the woodlands and you have much more cover, plus if a hunt goes awry and is ruined by other predators you have a lot more chances of escape, the only disadvantage is prey usually doesn’t go there so you will be forced into a diet of birds and whatever carnivores are small enough to kill (and hares on the cliff if desperate)
