Don’t do that 🤣. The down beats are clear as day. I USE to be like that so I somewhat understand. But once you get the ear for it, you’re gonna hear some crazy sycopated funk.
@@AKINGSKYD I mean I hear you. Maybe cuz I grew up in the Meac of BETHUNE-COOKMAN and FAMU and other great East Coast schools (A&T, Norfolk,). But I always said that too, how I'm the hell 🤦 Idk I guess cuz I'm the swac everything just totally played with accents. No dynamics 🤷. But the togetherness was there tho
@@kidd5952 Same here. It took me listening to more of SWAC lines to get the feel of it. Started with headphones but now it’s not needed cause I can recognize the groove faster. Listening is a MUST for these guys

@@kidd5952 Plenty of Dynamics.. we just play our accents louder. Plus Our Gym has no outlet for sound so everything played bounces around.
