I've watched all of your videos, and this is my favorite. Not only does the meal look great, but I see and hear the connection with your dad-pretty cool how food lives forever in our memories and connects to people in our lives or those we have lost. I'm gonna try this one. Mouth watering watching.

thanks, I started doing these videos so I can tell my families story through our food. One day when I'm gone my family can watch them and then pass down to their family. Have a wonderful day and thanks for the response.

I cannot wait to make this tomorrow morning for my breakfast.
I also can't believe I have everything in house, including the Portuguese Olive Oil and Linguica.
I need to ask you about the coffee my Portuguese Papa would have, a mug of hot coffee, a bowl, 1 egg, csm of evaporated milk, sugar. Papa would crack the egg into the bowl, beat with a fork add the hot coffee, sugar and evaporated milk. I loved it and to this day I buy a can of evaporated milk and have Papa Mello's coffee. He was born on the Island of Graciosa! Salute!!!

Aww cool If I heard u correctly he said vuvu 😊this makes me happy lol I know silly but I thought my family was the only ones that learned it and I ain't trying to say this disrespectful at all I love it we learned incorrectly on how to say grandpa I was told that is it's actually avu and avó or some to that extent my family has always said vuvu vava and so even Portuguese people ask what is vuvu and vava and we learned fizoles and I barely found out I guess it's supposed to be malasadas so I don't when you refer to who u did it brings memories I don't hear those words at all unless it's my immediate family and we are all grown and in our own locations and working so unless I hear it from myself I don't really hear them at all I loved my vuvu and vava very much they were a big part of my life until I became a adult and unfortunately made poor decisions I live with it every day how I wish I could have been there to take care of them when they were passing I should of been there and I wasn't anyhow it is bittersweet to have heard those words from someone else other than myself maybe weird but yeah the memories are always sweet with them and the bitter is the fact I wasn't there
