    Looks like a beautiful rod for sure! Handled some dandy crappie! That yellow perch was beautiful and definitely is on my list of species I want to catch. Great video Chris!

      Yellow perch are awesome! We have a decent population of them here. I know some guys who like to target them specifically by fishing nightcrawlers on the bottom like you would for shellcracker. Thanks for watching, Matthew!🙏🐟

    Awesome video Chris! That Handing rod definitely looks like a great choice for ultralight fishing! It looked like a beautiful morning to be out on the water! Those were some sweet looking Crappie you caught brother! Nothing like Fall Crappie fishing! Those Yellow Perch are absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

    Another super video providing both education and top notch fishing content. I recently bought some lures from Handing for the first time and plan to check out the other fishing gear. Pretty cool nature setting with the sun breaking through the morning fog. Those Fall Crappie are truly spectacular. I’m definitely checking out your Merchandise Site to purchase some stickers for my canoes. Love that Perch and Smallie that snuck in at the end. Such a scenic area to fish. ⭐️💥🎣

    That is a beautiful rod. I love the wood look on the reel seat. I think too many reel seats are rather ugly and ruin the look of a rod. That clicker is also a nice touch, I've never seen (or heard) that before.

      Thanks so much for watching, Nomad! It’s definitely a nice looking rod, in my opinion. I love the clicker… probably way more than I should!😁 For some reason, I just really love the sounds of ultralight fishing.

      The crappie are starting to pick up around here, it seems. We had a lot of rain and runoff from the hurricanes in NC, so it has thrown things off a bit, I think. Usually November is a great month to catch some nice ones schooled up shallow here.

    Man that rod looks incredible for that price point! I don't know how you even found it, but I'm glad that you did. Great casting distance and nice bend while fighting! I used to love catching perch when I lived in CT. I always thought they felt strange though. Kind of stiff. The color scheme on perch is pretty sweet. I still have some perch colored jerk baits from when I lived up there 35 years ago. I've seen a few videos of guys in England catching Perch recently. Stunning colors... and big! Thanks again for taking us along.

    Rod setup - Diawa presso w/ 10 bearing Diawa regal & Diawa Jbraid
    I always have something by crappie magnet tied on. Some days I catch over 30 fish in 3-4 hours lol
    Btw restock the stickers on your website so I can order all of them!!!

      Ha! That’s awesome. The Presso and Regal is such a great combo. So smooth! You can never go wrong with Trout Magnet or Crappie Magnet. Couldn’t begin to tell you how much fun those lures have brought me over the past few years of using them. My pal, Mark, and I caught exactly 100 fish in just under 4 hours on a trip a few weeks ago. Many of them were small panfish, of course, but we also landed several nice ones that day. Great multi-species lures. Yes, I need to have more stickers made soon. Thanks so much for watching and the support.🙏🐟

      That sounds like a fun rod! I have been looking at buying a Daiwa Iprimi to try. They make them in both XUL and XXUL, which is crazy. Designed for fishing micro sooons and hard baits, I believe, but watching Randy Goad @troutmagnetman land a jumbo bass on it in one of his videos looked like too much fun! Quick question, what is the knot u use 2 pound test?

    • @pistolcreek
      @pistolcreek  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thanks so much! I usually use a palomar knot. For vertical jigging, a loop knot can be helpful… but majority of time I go with palomar. I believe it is supposed to be one of the stronger knots. Seems to work well for me.
