Save your stones for beast. If i remember correctly his banner has agl ui goku and int evolution blue vegeta. If you get all three of those guys you automatically have 3 of the best cards in the game. You will need lrs to do those ezas for the older lrs though. So i would do additional summons on the gogeta banner. I mean you have thousands of stones to farm.
I actually have both 6th Anniversary LRs rainbowed, so me summoning on Gohan Beast's banner is purely just to get him. I hope your summons go well this Anniversary by the way!

I have 600 now. I had my final med school exams so I didn't grind dokkan for months. Still grinding stones here and ther so might hit 800 by the time anni starts. Then, I will wait for beast Gohan, summon on there and then summon on Broly and/or gogeta
@@lynije I got broly in 70 stones. Did not get Gogeta in 3 rotations. I stopped when I had around 400 left and them grinded up to 1150 as of now. I will go all in on Beast and go back to gogeta if I have stones to spare.
I appreciate the advice, even if this is generally what i do. This year is a bit different. I will have about 3400 Stones before the banners drop. Plan to spend 400 on Broly & 400 on Gogeta. 600 on Beast & 200 on Gammas. Will give up if i go over that limit & will stop if pulled early. Then i plan to spend 300 on Toppo, 300 on Cell Max, 300 on Heroes (Thats usually enough to pull most or all of the units), 400 on UI Goku, maybe 300 on the 2nd part of Tanabata depending on what it is, 400 on each banner for Worldwide (depending on what they are), and 400 on each banner for 10th Anniversary. If i did my math right, i should get more than enough free stones by the end of 10th Anniversary to do the max i set on all these banners. I'm 100% F2P, but this year i decided to do all the content i never finished or did yet since the 10th Anniversary and the Sync were so close to the usual stuff we get on global. Not to mention Cell Max and Toppo are surprise additions in parts of the year i notmally skip outright
You're forced to learn patients and be ok with the results when you can't spend any money, haha. As far as how I got the amount, it was doing all the new stuff through the year as well as doing all of the stages SBR, ESBR, Red Zone, Fighting Legend Goku, GT Goku, and Vegeta missions i never did (there was a lot of them) and some unfinished EZAs. Up until January of 2024, I was under the impression my teams were barely good enough for SBR, and could never do ESBR or Red Zone. Turns out I had good enough teams to clear all of them minus some specific missions for Red Zones. In other words, I grinded my fingers to the bone to make sure I could be 100% prepared for whatever the Sync throws our way.
This honestly sounds amazing! Not even I planned this far ahead. It's pretty clear why you've managed to continue enjoying the game to the fullest as a F2P player!

@Grimu honestly I didn't really plan on it. It was more me believing I couldn't beat that content, and finally saying, "Screw it, I'll give it a shot" when they announced a sync. Haha. It's mostly because with the 10th Anniversary likely being in January, there won't be much time for us Global players to recover from the usual craziness that is the 2nd half of the year for us. Especially for me since I always summon on Heroes banners due to their cool factor and their limited availability. I think I have all the Heroes units except 3 of them at this point.
bro i Remember in the 8th anniversary on jp i spent almost 5k stones and found only a copy of gt goku and vegeta ssj4, all the stones were farmed in 2 months on a new account
I can relate. There were certain celebrations, namely the 5th and 7th Anniversaries that treated me terribly. I hope the luck turns around for you this 9th Anniversary!
I’m going to hard skip gogeta, go at least 1000 deep into beast (searching for dupes too) and save 500(plus all the new stones the anni is gonna give me) for ui. I feel like spreading stones in three banners instead of 2 would let me down hard.
Playing it safe is definitely a viable option. Props to you for being able to hold your self back and put your stones into the banners that really matter for your account. I hope your summons go well!

I have like 3.3k stones and I plan to summon until I get 30 tickets per each banner and then repeat. I'm hoping to have 1000 plus for wwdc. this is why I hate the whole carnival and dokkan fest combo cause I can't go all out and they know I can't.

I did 2 full rotations and got 2 copies of each main unit on both at the first rotations and went another one to try more copies and get some extra ones. I got a couple of the good units and a lot of ok or situational ones like the Buus I still have 2.5k gems that I most likely will hold for Beasthan, UI and UE banners at the end of the month and for when the new TEQ UI drops, I most likely not going for the Gammas if they come in a separated banner. luckly will have a full team with them 6 with at least 1 extra copy on each
For now i have 1500 stones. I am planning to spend all my 9 anni tickets on gogeta banner and probably around 500 stones if i don't get him with tickets until i get at least one copy, the rest goes for beast
I’m a f2p player I just started yesterday, I know people will tell me to do the beast gohan banner but I like the broly banner, it has more characters I will like to have like the gogeta
I am just excited to get the eza ui goku tomorrow, gonna summon just on part 2, 77 tickets to beast (still need copies for ui, don't have beast and vegeta) and also gammas cause i only need him and the phy toppo and my special pose team is full. (i love them both too much + ginyu and gamma support is just so fun)
EZA UI Goku is definitely one of the more fun EZAs to come out of the 9th Anniversary. Special Pose is a pretty fun team too. Hopefully your summons worked out!
Your advice was alright, but there were some points that were a bit one sided. For example, picking gogeta over broly is not really advisable because yes, gogeta has better mechanics, but broly is going to be needed for extreme class missions that global will be pumping out. Plus, there are four superclasses characters that already basically play into his team. He's the fifth best unit in his own team. Whereas Broly would basically be the first talking global terms. And think about it this way, missions are essentially where you are getting dragonstones, so if you have a bad ext class team, you are essentially picking up ext class characters to help clear missions and gain dragonstones back. Moreover, broly just has a better banner. DFE banners and just better than carnival banners since there is a huge pool of characters you can actually pull on carnival banners, lessening the chance you are getting the featured you want. Sure the new banner format does help a bit, but you're not spending 3k+ so it hardly matters imo. Also, part 3 teq ui and cell aren't guaranteed to come out. Would be cool but likely not gonna happen. And same point imo. Get cell over teq ui because super class characters already have a really good team. Ui just adds to it, he doesn't do what cell max does. Cell max literally makes the team great, while ui just adds onto the greatness. Running Ui is not necessary, running cell max IS necessary.
Love this perspective! It was definitely on me for not pointing out Extreme Class missions and how that's one of the few methods to get Dragon Stones back after summoning. I have no idea what to expect for part 3 of the 9th Anniversary and I just compared TEQ UI Goku to Cell Max because they were the newest units on JP at the time of recording. 250 stones. most stones ive saved and ive never had problems double dipping and getting both lrs. so im hoping my luck that has been working for 6 years continues again

I wish I could give an accurate answer to this question! Characters that release on JP before the sync are stuck in Limbo and we have no way of knowing how the devs will schedule the release of those characters, so I genuinely don't know for sure.
You're already in a solid position. If you used a lot of Dragon Stones and/or got shafted, now would be a great time to go back to those events and save up for Gohan Beast!

gohan beast banner is the best banner ever...1st best unit on the game.beast...2nd and 3rd best units of the game goku and vegeta top...then we have broken gt duo and the upcomming god duo eza ....imagine pick beast,vegeta,goku then if lucky transforming hodu and you have the best team in dokkan for at least a year

If they put him in limbo then its not worth summoning at all and just use coins to get him on sayan day. I started a new account in the last couple of days. Used to play years ago, stopped about the time Teq Ultimate Gohan dropped and decided to start again. I've farmed up the Ginyu team and using them to grind stones though quest and boss rush. 100% not spending money though, I'm currently on almost 400 stones. Am I better off skipping the first half of the anniversary and pushing for beast, then if I get him, hoard the rest for UI Goku? Or as I realistically won't have any of the features units, is there a better strategy, as probably won't be lucky enough to get the featured unit. Also any tips for a new account at the moment?
with a new account you have a lot of stones you can use. Take advantage of the discount rotations at least. Broly's banner may be beneficial to you, I don't think I'd skip that one. He has some of the better villain characters. Villains tend to not get that much love yet have missions that require you to use them so you want to at least have the mandatory 5 types. With his banner covering 3 and 1/2 (cooler is decent but can get replaced with cell max in the future)
That's objectively a valid strategy, but I kinda disagree. I can still save Dragon Stones for future celebrations while also participating in 9th Anniversary summons. Regardless, I hope your future summoning endeavors go well!
I found that in practice Gogeta isn't as good as I thought he was. Once his guard runs out he becomes a dodge or die character, and certain high end events disable dodge so in that case he is a liability. Unlike Gohan his taunt ability gives him full evasion which is fine on events that disable dodge but it becomes usless when dodge is disabled because he doesn't get anything else like Gohan's extra defence. SSJ Gogeta doesn't stack DEF very quickly. SSB Gogeta is dodge or die in Redzone or above. Unfortunately he doesn't have enough defence. I would say Broly is much better in that regard. But overall Gohan Beast is the best investment anyone can make. I think from memory only one bosses Super Attack has been able to damage Gohan and it was only 50k damage. So he can tank literally everything.
Gohan Beast was obviously the best character to go for at the time. I will admit that my opinion missed when comparing Super Gogeta with Broly. Bro TEQ UI Goku is the goat but he’s not the best that crown belongs to Beast still. UI Goku got one of the worse transformation conditions in the game if it was 4 turn start of battle then yes he’s the best in the game. Besides that I can’t wait for him to come to Global!!!

I wish I could give an accurate answer to this question! Characters that release on JP before the sync are stuck in Limbo and we have no way of knowing how the devs will schedule the release of those characters, so I genuinely don't know for sure.

You're already in a solid position. If you used a lot of Dragon Stones and/or got shafted, now would be a great time to go back to those events and save up for Gohan Beast!
arent they doing a thing where if you spend 500 you get 30 tickets? or is that only on certain banners? like maybe just the dokkan fest and not the carnival banners? on a side note, is global getting tanabata? or will the tanabata units be filtered in during the next few months?
gohan beast banner is the best banner ever...1st best unit on the game.beast...2nd and 3rd best units of the game goku and vegeta top...then we have broken gt duo and the upcomming god duo eza ....imagine pick beast,vegeta,goku then if lucky transforming hodu and you have the best team in dokkan for at least a year
So your going 400 on gogeta 400 on gohan 600 on ui and skip wwc ? Thing is we have no idea when ui goku is even dropping. It could be xmass for all we know. If they put him in limbo then its not worth summoning at all and just use coins to get him on sayan day. No matter what ill do my best to skip wwc because 10th annie is in february now and every unit will he there

I started a new account in the last couple of days. Used to play years ago, stopped about the time Teq Ultimate Gohan dropped and decided to start again. I've farmed up the Ginyu team and using them to grind stones though quest and boss rush. 100% not spending money though, I'm currently on almost 400 stones. Am I better off skipping the first half of the anniversary and pushing for beast, then if I get him, hoard the rest for UI Goku? Or as I realistically won't have any of the features units, is there a better strategy, as probably won't be lucky enough to get the featured unit.
Also any tips for a new account at the moment?
with a new account you have a lot of stones you can use. Take advantage of the discount rotations at least. Broly's banner may be beneficial to you, I don't think I'd skip that one. He has some of the better villain characters. Villains tend to not get that much love yet have missions that require you to use them so you want to at least have the mandatory 5 types. With his banner covering 3 and 1/2 (cooler is decent but can get replaced with cell max in the future)

That's objectively a valid strategy, but I kinda disagree. I can still save Dragon Stones for future celebrations while also participating in 9th Anniversary summons. Regardless, I hope your future summoning endeavors go well!
Actually is more optimal to save for 11th anniversary

I found that in practice Gogeta isn't as good as I thought he was. Once his guard runs out he becomes a dodge or die character, and certain high end events disable dodge so in that case he is a liability. Unlike Gohan his taunt ability gives him full evasion which is fine on events that disable dodge but it becomes usless when dodge is disabled because he doesn't get anything else like Gohan's extra defence. SSJ Gogeta doesn't stack DEF very quickly. SSB Gogeta is dodge or die in Redzone or above. Unfortunately he doesn't have enough defence. I would say Broly is much better in that regard. But overall Gohan Beast is the best investment anyone can make. I think from memory only one bosses Super Attack has been able to damage Gohan and it was only 50k damage. So he can tank literally everything.

Bro TEQ UI Goku is the goat but he’s not the best that crown belongs to Beast still. UI Goku got one of the worse transformation conditions in the game if it was 4 turn start of battle then yes he’s the best in the game. Besides that I can’t wait for him to come to Global!!!
