Got hold of a Sydney gig guide two weeks ago, saw the name Fantastic Negrito, checked him out on Spotify and was instantly blown away. This is the sort of powerful dirty blues I've been wanting to find for years. Went to the next show available, Oxford Art Factory. Great venue for the best frontman I have ever seen. Negrito your range and talent is incredible. Since then I've been playing your music to everyone that will listen, can't wait till you come back to Sydney.
I was asked to go see him in Glasgow a few years back so I listened to the opening riff for about 10 seconds of this song. I instantly said yes and it was fucking unbelievable how good they were live. Mind blowing.
Just found this amazing artist yesterday, and I have now listened to every song he has on Spotify. This was the one that Spotify first brought to my attention, probably because I am a HUGE blues fan, especially the blues rock of the 60s and 70s, but also the classics like Howlin' Wolf, etc. This is so good and all of his stuff is. It is a perfect modernization of that old old blues feel. I am sad I am late to the party, but I am here now, and so happy to jam.
So far the best new songs I've heard all year are Plastic Hamburgers and The Duffler. I haven't been this excited about a new album in a long time. Thanks for being excellent, real, intense, and meaningful in an era where that is rare.

Fantastic Negrito that's Rhode island right? Only a three hour drive and totally worth it. July is plenty of time for my girlfriend and I to find babysitters for our two kids for a couple days. I'm really digging your guys music man, I'm a metal head but I pretty much listen to everything excluding modern country. I don't want o sound cliche but I'm also a veteran I served four years in the us army as an 11 x-ray (paratrooper) 3rd brigade combat team for the 82nd airborne for Bragg NC. I love my country and I am not a fan of the men pulling the strings for us, the message that your music sends in my opinion is a very important one and I love when bands such as yours and just as an individual as yourself to use such a powerful platform to spread your message instantly grabbed my attention and you had gotten yourself a fan right off the bat man. I will be at that festival and I will look very forward to meeting you for a good few minutes of chit chat and photos.
