RUNFOCUS - Double pole drag. How did you extend the legs that far out? How much is your inside ski taking weight? How much load is on your quad with such knee angulation? How did you develop the trust that the ski will catch you on the second half of the turn? Anyway, are you born on Earth?

Hey Reilly, in a short turn do you try and extend your outside leg as far as possible for each turn? I have a CSIA instructor trying to get me to do it, but it feels wrong and I dont think you do it in your skiing either so I really don’t know what to do lol
Love your videos Reilly. I cannot keep the lower pole in place with my hip flexor unless I bend what seems like really far forward, like torso horizontal. Do I need to develop a beer belly to keep the lower pole in place or am I missing something?
haha! I definitely do not have a beer belly! I am 170cm and 66kg, very thin build. You have to wedge it in between the hip flexor and the top of the pelvis...
