- This is one of the XGSONG MIDI files that's still available on reasonstation.nl I did all the neccesary edits "live" on this video using CC knobs and 2 effect pedals, one for a spacey flanger and the other to take place of a tap delay (the VST doesn't have a way to add taps but it automatically makes equally spaced taps based on the initial(?) clock rate/BPM of the current MIDI file and we can tune it further under Dotted, Triplet, Straight and fully custom. Both are available for free download at plugins4free and baby audio.
Well, I have played this raw before on virtualMIDISynth and it sucked. XG is at least half about adding DSP spices to the mix.
