i rlly wish that the movie would have a showed a more softer side to jiahan and birdys relationship. the scene with jiahan cutting birdys hair would have been great for showing that they had a playful and flirty side along with all the other intense feelings they had for each other. it could have smoothened out the build up between the larger emotional scenes in the movie as a lot of events seemed kind of sudden. all in all though I genuinely loved this movie because of how emotional and real their story was. the acting, the plot, the music, scenery all made for a great(although sob inducing) movie

The scene where Birdy stole physics final for A-han could add A LOT of perception to the movie, especially for those who only watch the movie once. since I think, most of time, young A-han is the one whom giving affection to Birdy on the movie, while Birdy is more indirect (or even first watcher might confuse to what do Birdy want) and tends to "lets make trouble but I will invite u altogether". Overall the physics exam is one of my favourite deleted scene on this reel so far 🤣

You have to deal with your own problems as you grow together; some had to be separated in order for them to grow independently. Whether you’re straight or not perfect relationship doesnt exist. It’s up for the both of you to write your own ending.

Then to follow that with a statement that they never saw each other for thirty years was like a kick in the gut. I actually like the last scene. It’s kinda bittersweet but adds a little bit of closure.
The first 2 scenes where birdy actually kinda flirted with jiahan would actually made the movie better if they were included, so we get to see they flirt each other more to make the climax more impactful. The aired netflix version, we dont see much of birdy's affection. the 4th scene where father said live in the moment would make the ending better, since it kinda made a confusion cuz in the aired netflix version its pretty vaguely said. and the banban jiahan scene would explain the ending better. Idk why would they cut perfect scenes like these.
Wow so these scene are what they were referring to when they met when they were older. like when Birdy tells him that he even sent JinJin to seduce him and in the moive when Birdy looks through the bushes and was listening in on the headmaster telling Jia-Han’s mother that he’s failing chemistry and here Birdy brings him the answers to the final. Even though these scenes are nice I feel like by not adding theses scenes it adds more depth to their story because while we suspect why they do certain things or if Birdy actually still has feelings for Jia-Han the whole time. we only find out later just how much Birdy cared for Jia-Han and just how much they held back.

I think the director wanted it that way. This is based on his life and his own personal experience it was very personal to him it wasn't a fictional story. He wanted to keep as factual as possible. As much as I wish these were in the movie I'm also glad they aren't. The metaphorical and wondering aspect of the movie is creative and leaves you with many emotions
