Good for you friend! As the youngest child this concept was never hard for me 😂 but then I got married and life happened and I lost touch of that for far too long! This journey for me isn't just about my financial health but my physical and mental wellbeing. I find it so hard to go shopping for me…I’m a bargain shopper and have been since I had my kids. so I don’t really splurge on anything for me. Lately here and there I’m like “you know what? Why not? Makes me happy I’ll get it” sometimes I feel guilty but…I hey I deserve it too. ❤❤
I don’t know when it happens, but we are trained to think that way and feel guilty and honestly taking care of ourselves is not selfish. I understand that there needs to be balance…but doing my nails should not be the ONLY self-care that I get… 🤷🏽♀️ I love splurging on myself now and I know that my family sees buying budgeting challenges as part of it; and it can be but it’s also for the entire family. I mean, like really splurging on myself. #goals
