Hi, I am 21 and I was born with disease called pectus excavatum. Since puberty I have suffered from isolation due to shame. I was waking up every morning without the will to live. The only thing that keeps me going is a little hope and that I'm not alone who suffer. I just want to tell everyone that you are not alone and you have your whole life right ahead of you. Even a little hope is worth to be fighting for.
"Cause isolation was a whole lot easier" This is where I have remained since my early 20's. After over 15 years, I don't really even know how to fix it. I attempt to go out and make connections but it feels like I'm in slow motion observing everything going on around me so rapidly that I can't bridge the gap. I'm present but I'm inside a box made of one way glass, I can see out but nobody can see me trapped inside. At least there is music. I'm glad you guys made this.
I'm 61. When I was young I was the life of the party. But now I'm old and I see all the evil. I love my lord. But I have been struggling for 15 years with anxiety and depression. I do thank God everyday I don't take my own life.
Try travelling to a new country. That helped me alot. I found it easier to talk to people from other cultures, and the change of scenery got me out of a rut i was in. Small communities are fun and value you lots when you make an effort to integrate and help out. Also reading the Bible

I've been there. Barrel in my mouth, crying, wishing I wasn't in it. The Lord Jesus prevented me from pulling that trigger, saved me from my sin, from my drug addiction, and raised me to life in His name. Now He uses me to preach the gospel, God makes no mistakes.
