When his dad teared, I felt so bad for some reason. We all thought it was funny bc kjk was so frugal. He learned it from his upbringing. Who would have thought his dad had such a sad past. Losing your youngest sibling to starvation must have been traumatic. I know kjk treats his parents with utmost respect and care, i hope the dad learns to enjoy the finer things in life.

try thinking this way. If he seems rare to you, imagine how women feel to him when most of them date or marry for shallow reasons or material gain.as do most of the men. women like him are also rare. so chances for him to find someone on his level of kindness is very difficult. Cause being kind to a woman who doesnt deserve it wont make him happy.

But remembering KJK once said, "You can never be too nice to your parents" makes me realises I still can make them happy even with small things.. like taking them out to a restaurant on payday.. yeah.. thats why I like KJK..

I came across this video again... Seeing how jong kooks dad cry because of those memories is just heart breaking. I know i wont compare to what they experience back in the day but me and my mom also experienced hardships back when i was little. To see your parents crying becauae of problems is just too breaking... Remembering that last morsel of food that was eaten by a cat is one of the things that devastates my memories. Seeing my mom in tears because of it. Now we lived a simple life. Not much money but we dont starve unlike back then. She was a bit lucky becauae im an only child but still it was hard raising a bastard of a kid like me. I didnt rebel or anything but back then i wantes things. Now that im a grown man i alwayd think of that rule from zombieland... Enjoy the little things.... If you still have your parents, love them to the fullest if you have plenty then give them plenty. Of you have non then at least give them your time. You wont be alive without them

Die of starvation. That shows how hard his father’s life was. I really wish people respect and love their parents more. They were young like us before. Their body just grow old. I learned to love my mom when I lost my dad the day I had a fight with him. It was my greatest regret. I don’t want to go through the same thing that I did before. It always breaks my heart when I see my cousins or friends yelling or getting mad at their parents.

My grandma work 2-3 job just to raised her child . The most sad think my dad said, he never know the love of his dad. Because of that hardship, my dad cannot express his feeling very well. Always silent like kim joong kok dad. I’m also chatty like Kim joong kook. Because i dont wanna awkward feeling, and silent between the people you love . Communication is key. Kim joong kook really know how to handle and take care of his dad feeling. I hope his dad get a happiness in his live .
