Pt 2!!! Please!!
I have a few words, both positive and negative. This is polite constructive criticism as I have been writing and making Gacha videos for over six years now. And yes, I'm from the early Gacha era, so I've seen good, bad and the ugly when it comes to Mini Movies.
So first, the good. The character designs felt natural and not odd for kids their age. They wore school-appropriate clothing and nothing so short you can see their panties like **some** Gacha creators do. The scenes were all completely necessary for the plot-line, which was smooth and didn't go by so quick that you have to pause, but not so slow you have to skip through it. And the relationship between Ezekiel and Gabriel was one of the most natural I've seen. They met through a little accident that didn't topple the both of them over. Ezekiel saves Gabriel from some bullies and casually asks if he'd like to have lunch together. Now knowing Gabriel's personality a bit better and vise versa, they start hanging outside of school as well as inside. Then eventually, Ezekiel and Gabriel develops feelings for each other in a nice, not overly dramatic way. Ezekiel's friends are cool with it, not overly energetic and support the both of them, even helping the pair to confess to each other. Now, Bianca. She may be considered an antagonist for this movie, but she is actually quite a decent one compared to some "rival lovers" in romance Mini Movies. All she does is ask Ezekiel to be her boyfriend. Sure, she's a bit annoying about it, but she's not hurting Ezekiel for rejecting her, she's not hurting Gabriel for "taking her man" and she doesn't violate any boundaries by attempting to kiss Ezekiel while Gabriel is watching. She's quite respectful and seems a little sensitive to rejection. All in all, well done.
Now, the bad. You don't have to listen to what I say, this is just my opinion. When it comes to plot-line, this was nice and clean and stuck to the goal: Ezekiel and Gabriel getting together. However, I feel like it could've added a few more scenes. Such as, the pair going out on walks or dates, or just generally hanging out, bonding. That would've been nice. I know they care for each-other a lot, which is why I think you should've added a few negative things. Such as petty fighting or even an argument over a disagreement. Nothing crazy, but enough so that they could work through something together, therefore bonding them even closer. One thing about the final scene that I didn't really like was Gabriel's reaction to Bianca's confession. He didn't stay to hear the reply, he just jumped to conclusions. And I get it. In certain states of mind, you wouldn't want to hear it. But it's good to hear the entire conversation. I do wish the confession scene between Ezekiel and Gabriel was a little nicer, them dressed in something other than casual-wear, not a suit per-say, but something a bit nicer. It could've taken place during a sun-set at the park they love to go to together (A call-back to their time out-side of school). They could be having a picnic or just watching the sunset, and one (preferably Gabriel) could turn to the other and just say it. No dramatic *gasp* reactions, just a little look into each other's eyes before a reply, which would ultimately be a yes. Then, since they're in high school, they could either graduate together, with them holding hands in the final photo or go to prom, revealing that the "popular boy" is dating "the freak" of the school. But no-one boos. No-one jeers. Instead, they begin to clap, showing their support for the couple.
I'm sorry this is so long, I just see so much potential in you and I want to help you perfect your craft into something you can be truly proud of. And you should be right now! I loved this Mini Movie and I can't wait to see what other stories you'll be putting on the silver screen for us to view.
