@@Bangcatit's a bit of both, it does reduce lag a bit especially in sections where there's a lot of explosions or enemies but also its done to create different pov on the AC
Constant build optimization, precise routing, impossibly accurate rockets, and you even took the time to showcase the emblem and color customization. This is everything that I could possibly want from an Armored Core TAS.

Haven't even gotten that far into the video, and yet I already have to comment... That test before you start the game is hilarious. I was not expecting it to go that quickly. I suppose I'm in for a ride here! Great job on the TAS too bro, it looks very clean

ya! i actually found out while testing for the TAS that there is a group of tiles you can shoot and break to fall through. and as a kid i always walked below the bridge and let the enemies take themselves out like that. i felt like it was a great way to end the first mission.
they are actually being used in the thumb of the video. I'll be a little more technical here tho, in AC1 boost speed has a cap that most legs can reach with the right booster (not tanks). leg speed determines non boost speed. the only set of legs that can break the speed limit are the light quads which get featured in the mid section of the game and are prominently used in the RTA speed run. hope that helps, thanks for commenting.

when the counter in the system menu says 100% which you can see at the very end :p it includes completing all missions, obtaining all hidden parts, and destroying some of the optional mission AC's ilke valkyrie and 9ball.
at which point?? generally speaking, the normal camera is manipulated by flying against a ceiling. the other camera tricks, FPS, and 3rd person are done with in game options which can be detailed on common tips/tricks pages.
