Imagine memorizing the lines in a couple of these clips, then consider they used to make these movies every six to eight weeks. Bogie was amazing and was the quintessential “movie star”. Hard to believe he’s been gone nearly 70 years.
When I order cheesecake, I don't expect to get mucilage! You're a good man, sister. What do you want me to do, learn to stutter? I spent most of my time since I grew up in jail . It looks like I'll spend the rest of my life dead. A hot dog at the ballpark beats roast beef at the Ritz.
Nice montage. However, the fact that the films have been panned/scanned to make them appear as wide screen is disappointing. The scenes have much of the original film cut off.
that was excellent. now do one with jimmy stewart. stewart and bogie are my favorite actors. ingred bergman and olivia de havilland are my two favorite female actors. that monologue in "knock on any door" hits home. but it doesn't address the corruption in wall street, madison ave and the ivey league is as bad as in any slum. they're just better dressed. these days many rich dress like they live in a slum. they think it brings them street cred. (sigh). who the hell wants street cred? so the cultures are merging. thanks for video. what was the name of the movie with the scene used towards the beginning? where he's walking down the street the cop's following him and bogie's narrating? i don't think i ever saw that film before.
One of the best. So few can deliver lines as meaningfully and as consistently great as Bogart could.
One of the best? You mean THE best.
The ultimate man. I could listen to him all day.
Bogie is so unique, his charisma is unquestionable. Legend never dies. Thanks for sharing Joe Rzodkiewicz!
In Casablanca when they started playing the French national anthem in front of the Germans it almost brings tears to your eyes every time

One of the greats.
Excellent compilation.
nice compilation. thanks
Look at the actors of the last 50 years. Sure, many good ones, some great ones, but nothing like Bogey.
I havent even watched this yet...Just the idea itself deserves a like
Greatest of all time!
Well done, Joe. 👍
Best Bogart ramblings Ive heard🥂
Despite of the short height, his charisma is the "tallest".
Wow!
The Boss, respect!!
He was a Capricorn ♑ sign ...we rule Time 🌠⏳ ...and so it is with Bogie
I never really knew a Capricorn. I sure would have liked to have met him.
@@juliestrom412 hahaha 😆
No just back in the day. You knew what peoples signs were that you knew well. Does anyone remember Linda Goldman's book on astrology?
@@juliestrom412 Linda is a jazzy lady ...ohh yahhh
@@MapleSyrupPoet well she died a long time ago go read your Chinese cookie fortune.

The only sentient being here who recognizes the tsunami of wit coming from Bogey's lines.
I am not on social media. Any promotion there would be appreciated. Thank you in advance,

0:22-1:48 what is that movie title?
The movie's title is The Big Shot (1942). I've seen nearly every Bogart film, but not this one, and I can't find it either.
What movie is 14:46 from?
Cut the music.
Might want to look up the definition of "monologue"... Still, who can't be impressed by Bogie.
The only voice you hear is Bogart's. One person, one long "Monologue." You might want to look up the definition yourself,
@@JoeRzodkiewicz We-ell, there was a tiny bit from a fight manager behind a desk, but who's counting? :)
1.35 which Bogart movie is this?
The Big Shot (1942)
What film the voice over from?
The Big Shot (1942)
BOGART My Favorite actor ....dont make them like him anymore ...to bad .......
The annoying distracting background music ruined this. Stop doing that!
Yeah, it distracted from the rhythm and tone of Bogart's voice. So incredibly stupid.
