Im doing an exchange year in the US and where I’m from you just take one math class where you do everything so I wasn’t sure what the difference was Thank you for this video!
In the UK, we do calculus from age 16 to 18. It's pre college. I remember sitting down in my first 'A' (Advanced) level maths class at age 16, confronting dy/dx and thinking, "What fresh hell is this??" I always thought the UK and US did things (roughly) at similar ages. Interesting. I learned something new today!
For me it was optional. You could double up on math at grade 11 and take algebra 2 and precalculus. And then in 12th grade you could take Calculus 1 but most students didn't do this.
Love your videos, they bring back good memories 😊 I was lucky to have a a great math teacher a long time ago. maybe touch on a basic intro to topology, number theory (just some prime’s stuff), etc. I was doing great in high school math, struggled in university, but the advanced topics really opened up my mind to the beauty of math. School teaches formulas, which is fine. But learning how the formulas came to pass is key in my opinion. Keep up your great work. 🤓
Well just looking at this I can do Algebra with out Calculus I can’t do Calculus without out Algebra Calculus allows you do do many things Example you can find Areas under a curve…and Change ( Rate of change )..At lol of things that you do Calculus …you are going to have to know your algebra …Why did I take Algebra Geometry and Trigonometry??? Answer: So I can do Calculus
Bingo, there were so many times in college when I would get problems.wromg and my professor would write ALGEBRA!!!! On the the homework....you will flounder is calculus harder because of a poor understanding of algebra than the calculus content being taught (at low level calculus 1 type stuff)
The video actually starts at 4:00. You're welcome.

Integrals, etc…

Calculus is algebra on steroids
Great class
Please do more calculus videos

You made me love math
Is there a book that you can recommend to learn calculus through self-study
Very useful thanks alot❤
You are so funny! ... "Finding the area of squigley." 😆!
thank you.
Thank you so much
A triangle
Its good video!
Watching this after taking calc 2
The floor of your studio must be covered with “bl” bits as you explain all of these “pro’m”s. But that’s ok, you’re interesting.

nice, all of that which relies on algebra to do lmfao
Calculus is just harder algebra
calc is way easier than algebra 2 idk why
proms
🎉❤
You talk too much. Lots of rambling of nothing in the beginning of the video.
Useless
