Visual artists do paint the same thing multiple times and sell it. Handpainted wall art in office buildings and at retailers is exactly that. Artists trace other artist's work, add some new details and sell it for more than the original artist could ever dream of. Tayylor is basically just covering her own songs and crediting the original writers...like any other artist could.

Eh, Scooters loaded, Taylor’s loaded. Those original recordings are still the most popular and scooter still owns them. Taylor essentially “covered” her own songs which SHE wrote. The core of the song and what people enjoy is the composition, lyrics.. and THEN maybeeee production(recording). The “good” of the songs that people like is from Taylor, less the mixing engineer. Taylor can still be criticized and have flaws, while also realizing that she has the right to “cover” herself. Live versions are re-recordings. I’m NOT a “swiftie”. Scooter isn’t loosing out rather just seeing other versions of SONGS he DOESNT own. If he wrote the songs or owned the song rights .. “how can you not sue” she has the legal right. .. do you need citations? Proof? I’d be happy to inform to your speculation. Also Vanilla Ice absolutely does NOT “own” under pressure. Tintoretto music and Beechwood music have a stake in the publishing rights, which vanilla ice is an artist under.
