@@NoSticksNoBricks this was our second time coming to Quartzite for the Big Tent and the Rock and Gem show. But we stay about 10 - 12 miles out and really enjoy the atmosphere. We rotate between an RV park and boon docking . And will probably be back again. But next winter will be Florida for family reasons. Cheers!
I can tell by watching your video. Quartzite is not for you and you are not for Quartzite. You like those fancy RV parks more money than brains first time I found your channel not for me. I have been to the big tent twice A bunch of overpriced garbage. Have a good day. I call it like I see it.👍✌️
We are still bummed we didn't cross paths in Q! And where you were camping was crazy dusty! That is nuts with your Jack pads & hope the new ones work well & have to add snap pads. And great concept for a for a flush safe & hope the remodel doesn't leak! 😂
Great video Jason! I recognized Chris and Katrina in the video. I was laughing at you Jason with Chris on the walkie-talkies. How was it up there at that bar with the food good and was the food inexpensive or expensive? No wind storms out here to be pretty bad when it gets really windy out one time with the wind being so hard out here our back patio furniture got topped over and it was glass table. We had waited it down too, and it still blew over and the table broke, and then the wind was really windy. I think it was last week and a top of over some more of our stuff outside, but didn’t break anything thank goodness and we’re waiting on some rain too. We are very little about a week or so ago just enough to make your car dirty as they say after I just washed it it’s fun watching you guys all camping out the Quartzsite. Hope you all had fun is nice having a caravan of friends that you can hang out with. How are the RV pads working out hooked up? Sorry to hear about your RV with the awning toppers, I forgot what you call them. I hope it’s still working out for you with them after you repaired them. You are a great repair man. I’ll have to call on you for repairs at our house lol I know Jen’s gonna be proud to have you around. Hope you guys have a great week and weekend and see you next weekend and travel safe.
Fun times!! Loved hanging out with you all. We think we are a 1 and done on the Q. But ya know everything is ‘To Be Determined’ - See you in the road - when you get back East!!!
We've never been to Quartzsite but honestly, after seeing all the photos and videos everyone has shared, we immediately thought it looked too dusty and dirty.
@@NoSticksNoBricks It's definitely something we want to experience some time but we like the idea of staying somewhere else and driving in. We've heard there's a park fairly close
I went to Quartzite years ago and never went back. People say “it’s sooooo beautiful!” No it’s not NOT! It’s miles and miles of gravel parking lots. Lots of wind and dust. Plus the roads aren’t maintained at all. Very bumpy!
We have never done Quartzite but have been in the desert several times and you forget how windy and dusty it gets! 😋 The way your jack pads bent is wild! Miss ya!
This was our first year 😊 I have enjoyed it for so many reasons. The best reason for me has been my body doesn't hurt so bad every morning. I also collect and use crystals in my personal healing journey and the prices here are so much better than anywhere else we have traveled
We have never been to Quartzsite. We don't even like to be around beach sand too long. Those hydraulic plates look like it should be a recall. Bolts easy to get to when it's bent like that. I've seen his bolts come loose and people hane lost the plates. I put an old belt around mine with vice grips so I don't damage the piston. I put a water meter on my mine but its easy to forget. Nice job Jason.
Water valve is great idea...I ruined a travel trailer once for that exact reason! I overfilled the tank and flooded the rear of the trailer.....particle board underlayment doesn't hold up to that....I at least salvaged the trailer frame and made a utility trailer from it...insurance covered the loss ... and that really surprised me...didn't total it but gave me enough to cover what I had into it...plus got the frame from it. I will be interested in one of those for sure!
It was great seeing you guys at the 2025 united rally in Tucson. Your RV pad installation was amazing. I am surprised the original pads failed as bad as they did. Great video.
Well, you went back 5 times, so.....? Maybe it is time to try something new. "They are all jacked up" LOL! 🤣 Nice replacement. Those pods should be a lot better. Wish we could have met up with you guys with the Moon's, just didn't work with our volunteer schedule. Maybe next time! - Jim & Michelle
Five times is a lot! We might go for a day but no more staying out there. The pads are much better. Now we need to order snap pads. We wish we could have met up too.
Were the other 4 years you went to Quartzite as bad as this year? Wow on those landing gear feet! Fleetwood should have replaced those for free! Have you been happy with the new rig overall? That black tank flush gadget looks promising. We just had that oopsie this fall. The water was to to the rim of the toilet so it was a close one!
Yes the wind was bad the other times too. Jen doesn’t like all the dust and rocks out there. It’s so just dirty! The landing feet were horrible but these news one are doing great. Glad you didn’t have a flood in the RV and caught it early. Very close!
I would like to do the Q some day along with other places out that way with the RV & UTV. I've been out, just not w/camper, so familiar with the dust. Full hookups like campgrounds you were at would be a good break too. Charge up batteries & change out waters and dust off.
Thanks nice video. Flush safe is a cool gadget a bit pricey. Do you have a promo code. Always seems I buy something and then they make a new and improved one. That's my luck. Thanks again safe travels.
QUARTZSITE vs SLAB CITY! How come Slab City can handle the good, bad & ugly comment and still have loyalty but in 2025, I never seen so many veteran vehicles nomad complaining about Quartzite and ready to check out . When everybody goes to one spot every year, it gets boring and stale. From November- March, nomad should rotate and spread around and find other Quartzite in Arizona Arizona
It can definitely be a love it or hate it place for sure. Okay to visit but it’s brown. We like green trees, being by water, and grass. There’s none out there.
@NoSticksNoBricks agreed. To me out there it's like a letterbox. Lol when we came back east last year we got to Mississippi River and I jumped on the radio and said look there's water, there's green grass! Lol we drove 1-20 from east to west then west to east.
We're probably not going back to Quartzsite...

The desert bar is not worth destroying your vehicle to get there. We will never go back there again. The roads are HORRENDOUS!!
I’m sorry to hear that. I think the road there has lots of signs saying the road is for off road vehicles or That’s the point of the bar.

Thanks guys, miss you!🧡🧡🧡

It is!
It is very dusty! But you should experience it once. Stay somewhere else and drive in for the day.

Agree!! We think everyone should experience it once. But it’s not beautiful. It’s brown, dusty, and dry.
Too many people, too much wind and dust, too many off-leash dogs with too few owners picking up the piles. I will never go back.
Great Video! We have a fix it day coming up very soon! LOL! That is really cool product for the black tank flush! Thanks for sharing and safe travels!
Thanks for watching! Glad you found the video helpful. 😊
Quartzite was a blast when it was good but those dust storms were brutal.
Agree! We had fun hanging out you guys and the others but those winds sucked.🤣

We appreciate you watching!
It was great see you guys at the big tent. Safe travels, see ya down the road.

Thank you! Safe travels to you guys too.

Great video.
Thanks! We were glad to have the chance to share what we had learned!
I’ll have to look at my jack pads after seeing this.
Us too!
We were shocked how bad they were. The new ones are much better.
Oh I want one of those flow meters`` That would work for filling the fresh tank too~
Yes it will work on any tank you’re filling along as it’s correctly set up.
Find some thick rubber flooring to use and make some footers to go between the footers and the ground and save wear and tear on your footers.
Great advice, thanks for sharing!

Never been to Quartsite, but would like to go at least once to see what it's about. Sure liked the projects part and I'm interested in the Flushsafe
Fun video guys! We may be like you and might not come for Q again. It’s crazy your new rig had such flimsy jack landing gear!
It was a shock when it happened. We hate slide toppers. Luckily it was an easy fix!
You’ll take on water at that brace you fixed. Seal it. Inspect your roof even at 5 months. Every 3 months. They leak.
You're right, we are going to keep a close eye on that. 👍🏻

Quartzsite is a great place to visit but be prepared for the dust! We’ve been there so many times that it’s not enjoyable anymore.
Hello, Great video. Could you repost the link for “Fush Safe” ? I am very interested in the product. Thank you and Happy Trails 😊
You gotta help the younger crowd with the time because counting past twelve or a clock with hands on it will drive them nuts.
Hahahaha! We’re both retired military, so military time is forever stuck in our heads…lol.
Sorry the wind and sand got so bad. I like the bar in the desert. That looked cool.
Thank you! The bar is very cool. Worth a trip out there.
15/16”. That bolt looks to be grade 5 (3 hash marks) u.s.
I tried that too…wasn’t a match.
It's soooo nice to do the "Big Tent Tour" from the comfort of my "shoebox?
It sure is a lot easier that way!
Thanks nice video. Flush safe is a cool gadget a bit pricey. Do you have a promo code. Always seems
I buy something and then they make a new and improved one. That's my luck. Thanks again safe travels.
It is a good product. Unfortunately, I don’t have a promo code, but will update the description if I get one. Thanks!
That's a Convex washer. Concave goes the other direction.
Okay, thx.
Do you still tow the Jeep behind the RV?
Yes we do!

Yeah, people like to set up “property markers”…haha.
Quartzite is a crap hole. Sorry but it is like a giant homeless camp.
We did see a few more homeless out there this year, but there’s a lot of great people there as well. 👍🏻
The jacks def doesn't look durable.
They were in pretty bad shape.
We went up to Quartzsite 1 time for 2 hours.. yep that was enough for us. We've moved back east. We experienced the west dessert.. not for us. 😊

That is the most unattractive place I have ever seen. Nothing green, just barren ground. Why does anyone go there?
We don’t boondock so I know We won’t go there -I love hiking in my crocs 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Bet the rattlers are even out for this one.
Didn’t see any, but you’re probably right!
