IDK but found this on Reddit "Increasing your own level will do it, in a single-player world, a level 1 survivor can scan up to level 16 dinos, while a level 105 survivor can scan up to level 131 dinos. Been doing this since Abb came out 🤣 I have gotten over 13 phoenixs like this. Even when there's no heatwave you can track and use parasaur to find where it dropped on ground. They do periodically glitch into mountainsides and the floor a lot I usually leave render and come back and it should be free
As with ase, if you are the first person to render it after it has been in its bird form during a heatwave, then it will tender as a bird, and then go through it's animation to turn to ash, But it doesn't load the ash asset, so it remains looking like a bird when it should look like ashes. If you left render and come abck then it will not be showing as a visual glitch It is disappointing that they are not always visible as a pile of ashes
im not ok with the storm nerfe 😂 2 to 3 days waiting on a heatwave is not fun and im talking about 2 to 3 real life days, my server doesn't belive on heat waves 😂😂
I'm not okay with the storms Nerf either I just think the weather conditions are a big part of scorched earth I think it was a very stupid decision to Nerf it Scorched earth is get the right gear make the soups and you good for everything This map without the challenge is a bad joke

The gene scanner is dumb. They really need to add custom ini so servers that have a high lvl wild dino cap can set it to find those. Not anything over 150.
official servers is 150 so the gene scanner is perfect for private servers or single player theres a mod call "Der Dino Finder" is on the map of your inventory and there you can filter your search by dino, gender and level. I use iot on my servers and is amazing
Yeah, wasted all my day waiting on a heat wave and nothing, next day same stuff, and then got that one a couple hours before a heat wave, after waiting for so long I'm taking whatever I can 😂😂

apperently so, becasue this video was made on official servers, i have seen purple, red, yellow, orange and now blue on regular times (no events)

makes up for how rare heatwaves are now, god they nerfed scorched weather so bad.
I hate how bad they nerfed it, I used to love heat waves every 2 to 4 hours now takes days, is not funny.
They need to reverse it, I mean the map is no fun without the harsh weather.

@YPou97 yes and they should still do the ini bit as mod bloat is a real thing.
Unfortunately, in Single Player it only works if you activate the prevent hybernation.
or you can activate slomo 100 and leave it like 30 minutes then turn it down to slomo 1 again, time will passs and stuff should spawn.
