I really appreciate how you don't just listen to the song, but you also try to put yourself in the artist's place and empathize with the struggles that led to the making of the music.

Think thats why be said he started really doing doing his music. He was convinced he was gonna die and wanted all of his songs out in the world, so that maybe his experiences could hopefully help others. Thank goodness he didnt die and thank goodness hes getting this very important message out. I know that my life was saved, and ill always be grateful for that. Thanks so much Guy! Ren reminds us that feeling and acting on a purpose is life affirming. For him, for all of us.l love this song. The sound of the beat reminds me of a Chinese zither. So cool.

Ren's level of empathy touches every person who has suffered and felt on the edge of giving up. No matter how old we are, each of us can feel Ren... and he gives us Hope. This song feels like Ren's version of a fight song for himself and others that are fighting against cronic illness and mental pain. Hold on!
That Ren could create music while so sick, I believe has to do with the fact that he really needed to leave something behind. Ren has said many times in interviews that he thought he would not survive long so he took every chance he had to make music so that his life would have had meaning once he lift this earth. It was also helping him in his pain to create and write music, an outlet, as it is for most artists.
