This is by far my favourite season of Coke Studio even though it was produced in the constraints of covid. Love the chilled out studio vibes of this season.
This season was actually shot in Rohail Hayat's home, not a studio. Rohail Hayat's the founder of Coke Studio actually and is a legend in his own right, from the legendary band 'Vital Signs'. The reason this season was shot at Rohail's home is because it was Corona season 😁. Gatherings weren't allowed. All the artists are actually singing or performing in the same room but not together. By the way, Rohail Hayat's the 'cool dude' mostly in shades, always laid back, playing the bass guitar. You can recognize him as the fellow playing the guitar in his bare feet! Like I said, cool as a cucumber 😁
Hi Ahmed! While we all would've loved seeing Rohail playing on screen in a CS song, sadly, he never appears in any of the videos with his face on at least. The guy you're referring to is Kamran Zafar Mannu, the legendary bass player. Fun fact: there are a few songs from season 6 and a few scattered throughout the seasons where Rohail's hands can be seen playing a keyboard or a guitar. But as I said earlier, he never appears full.
