Here’s to the next 1000! We arrived after TH-cam recommended us one of your crossword videos 2 weeks ago and we were delighted to find all this scrabble content to catch up on. We’re big fans of everything you’re doing - keep it up, David!
I don't know how long I've been following this channel, but I've been here for a very long time. Congrats on 1000! *Edited* I found out I subscribed to this channel on July 14, 2013 so it's almost been 10 years! Crazy how time flies.
David did about as well as he could here. Opponent was formidable, so David could not have won even with a perfect game. Congrats on 1000 subs, love all your content
@@SaraMGreads I did a Q&A for video 1000 (th-cam.com/video/RhotEHU8dEU/w-d-xo.html) so am asking at end of tonight's video (28 March, video 1255) whether people would like another or something else
JOWAR was probably worth considering, given the potential for a big X play next turn. Possibilities like WAX or FAX down column 4 (50 odd points), along with several XED plays down column 13 (ditto), could’ve presented themselves (with a the right dose of luck, of course). Regardless, excellent game and commentary, as always :)
👍 ofc... i dont see huge options 4 the J next turn after a play like OX. after all... keeping the X (rather than J) offers u more options in future turns _almost_ every time
I wonder how does your mind work? I see eilnort+a and think "tion", and easily see relation. But somehow you think of taileron, which I've never even heard of!
Just curious here, I am pretty sure you made the right play with your first word but you could have played the word "Eighty" ... I know its not a better scoring word given the board but surely that would have cleared the rack...although I see why just keeping 2 E tiles could be a problem.
