Brilliant song by Kizu, it's one of my favourite visual kei bands. This song is about hell on Earth, I mean in human world, but this song was released in last year and thus is also about covid, deep lyrics, as always in Kizu's songs. Maybe you can react to my favourite song by them? It's song "銃声" ("Juusei", it means "gunshot"), but thus don't have music video... It's one of their lighter songs, if we talk about musical side, byt lyrics are really deep and difficult, I love this song so much. I will be very happy if you can react to this one. :)
kizu are wonderful. They have a very unique style that always shines through even though all of their songs are very differernt from one another ranging from super heavy to pop-rock. I am a big fan of Enka music which is how I found out about them. There is a very famous song from Meiko Kaji called "Urami Bushi". You might know it if you ever watched Kill Bill (The film was much inspired by Lady Snowblood in which Meiko Kaji played the leading role. "Urami Bushi" however was the title song to Sasori which made her (world)famous in 1972) Kizu did a song with the same title in which they incorporated some of the tunes of Meiko Kaji's song. It's brilliant and I would strongly recommend listening to the live version: th-cam.com/video/y73UFSs0fcY/w-d-xo.html
Welcome to Kizu. There was a website I sourced my information from, but it has sadly been removed. However I remember the origin of Kizu very well. The story is quite wonderful. The Visual Kei scene is an interesting beast of members switching projects, changing styles, organically changing and morphing as they hit difficulties, personal differences, or even simply running out of ideas for their theme. (all vk bands have a theme, some small and broad, others very meticulous and specific. They dress and write to those themes) Anyway, so before Kizu began, a flyer appeared at some of the venues, it gave hints about the vocalist being known, but not who they were. There was also a call line, and this is the really cool part, which asked for people to call and talk about the things they felt they couldn't share. To unburden. In Japan that's a lot of topics. Vk (and the broader art and music industry) breaks a lot of social rules in what they cover. From my understanding a lot of the lyrics stemmed from those calls, those stories. Oshimai deals with suicidal thoughts, self harm and depression, Urami bushi deals with a bitter break up, 0 deals with existential crisis, and so on. They're a very deep and dark band. The vocalist LiME actually came from a much lighter, poppy band called Lezard. His transformation into Kizu's vocalist is extraordinary. His voice is absolutely sumptuous, filled with emotion and passion. His stage presence live is enormous in spite of being one of the tiniest people on the planet. On stage he's a beast. So like Dir en grey, here's another band that gives voice to the voiceless. And speaks of the dark things as they are. Can you tell I like them? I gave you two other songs on my previous list already, here's the two links again. If you already got these links noted, just ignore them. The one for 0 (zero) is fully translated. Thank you so much for leaving such a cool comment. I just love how everyone in this comment section suggests a different song by them even though they don't have a HUGE discography yet 😊 It really shows how brilliant all their songs are and how they touch different people through different topics, just like you wrote in your comment. I usually suggest 0 as well because it just has this immense impact with the pv but every time I hear steroid it scratches at my bones. It's a song that makes me feel blissfully uncomfortable ^^'
@@passio-735 if their lives didn't get pulled so quickly I'd love for him to see Elise from the Zepp Sayonara show. The crowd surge in that is the most intense thing ever. Then there's LiME's recent acoustic performances in the dawn. And the duets... So many colours to all of these bands. I usually cut my request lists to 10% of the links I actually have so I go for songs I think will give opportunity and garner interest for more.
@@pointlesswasteoftime Ou, yes! Elise is such a fun one - it's a shame it's not on TH-cam anymore. I also loved LiME's collaboration series. The one with Tatsuro is a thing of beauty. Their voices fit so well together. I know what you mean. I'm really happy TH-cam has another reactor who just takes chances and listens to music because he wants to see what else is out there. It can be really tricky to get some bands reacted to. I usually don't do this on someone else's channel but I hope Cyneward won't mind: I would like to very very warmly recommend John G.'s Thursday streams if you can make it at 9p.m MEZ - you can make any request there without paying and he has super fair and simple rules + we are a bunch of really nice people over there who pretty much just listen to music together :) I would love to see you there sometime!
Great reaction! I'm glad you liked it :) They are still a somewhat new band with a bit of a puzzling release concept [they have only released singles so far and just released a compilation of those which I think could be viewed as an album - it's just a bit strange to already know all the songs when you listen to a new album for the first time ^^'']. They can't really be categorized but a lot of their songs tend more towards rock than metal. But if you would like to hear something heavier from them I would suggest the song Steriod [ステロイド 4th single]. I love the lyrics for this one and the melody is awesome, too.
Kizu are a great band with a great and intense singer. You should definitely listen to the duet of the singer of Kizu and Tatsuro, the singer of Mucc. The voices just harmonize insanely well with each other and both put so much emotion into it. Watching your reactions is really fun and you might like the song :) th-cam.com/video/RiMf4CFhy0Q/w-d-xo.html

Yes the changes and hooks of Lime's writing is amazing. I love every nuance of his singing.

Kizu with Kizuato is a great song or also Jusei. I would greatly appreciate another reaction of this gem of a band!
