Anyone still here in 2021??? Late March 2021. Man I just got back from the ASOT in krakow. I love ASOT so much. Trance music crosses borders like few other things in the world. I have also been to Indonesia...would have loved to watch ASOT there. Great and chill people.

Heartbreaking to see the crowd going cold on Paul Van Dyk. I guess overpowering pop has had its effect on trance too. He is 42 guys and vocal is just not his thing. Paul has always been amazing for me, even here. Pure,oldschool trance.
adulion It might not have been a great opening - but Paul Van Dyk was the only guy who really mixed his transitions well and played pure trance throughout the whole set in my opinion. I am not saying that others were bad or anything, but i would've jumped to the Vandit if I was there. Outstanding.
Arjun Satheesh That was just exactly what I was thinking, it was kind of weird that people didn't really seem to interact with Paul Van Dyk, but on his part he did just so great - I litereally felt the deepness and originality of trance music and respect for him as well. He was awesome and the others were great as well.
Actually my fellow Indonesians didn't know much about trance, all they know about is that there's Armin and Andrew Rayel, most of them come just for the entertainment,and yeah I agree with you that Paul has always deliver pure old trance.

Anyone still here in 2021??? Late March 2021. Man I just got back from the ASOT in krakow. I love ASOT so much. Trance music crosses borders like few other things in the world. I have also been to Indonesia...would have loved to watch ASOT there. Great and chill people.
I always seen these events on TH-cam after they happen. I need to be proactive and actually GO to one! Looks awesome.

I was there and yes I have to say the crowd isn't really ready for trance ,it is really different with the generic house crowd in Indonesia, but thx for coming Armin ;)

Heartbreaking to see the crowd going cold on Paul Van Dyk. I guess overpowering pop has had its effect on trance too. He is 42 guys and vocal is just not his thing. Paul has always been amazing for me, even here. Pure,oldschool trance.
opening a set with born slippy would have been cool in the 90s not now
adulion It might not have been a great opening - but Paul Van Dyk was the only guy who really mixed his transitions well and played pure trance throughout the whole set in my opinion. I am not saying that others were bad or anything, but i would've jumped to the Vandit if I was there. Outstanding.
Arjun Satheesh That was just exactly what I was thinking, it was kind of weird that people didn't really seem to interact with Paul Van Dyk, but on his part he did just so great - I litereally felt the deepness and originality of trance music and respect for him as well. He was awesome and the others were great as well.

Actually my fellow Indonesians didn't know much about trance, all they know about is that there's Armin and Andrew Rayel, most of them come just for the entertainment,and yeah I agree with you that Paul has always deliver pure old trance.
