That was not Jock Ewing. That was Punk Anderson, who was one of JR's trusted business partners. The guy who played Jock died in 1981. This clip was filmed two years later.

@@studinthemaking The idea was that Amy was wise to Face's scams and resisted being one of his conquests. It seemed there was a throughline that the writers were working towards where a genuine relationship would develop between them. This was supposed to be the bickering phase where they were antagonistic towards each other because of their latent feelings for each other. You know, jealousy.
