Personally I don't think anyone will ever come up with a "better" chassis design than Viper/BSRT/SG+. The traction magnet/rear motor bushing clip was a little weak, prone to breaking on SG+ but BSRT and Viper fixed that. Original Mega G was a very good basic design too and I like that style of motor brushes better but do like SG+ traction magnet design better. Seems like Jag has some good designs but I don't have any because of the pickup shoe type being their's and their's alone.
Yeah, this Ghost Cat was a pain to build, I am not a fan of the hood type system, needs too much work to make it run well. I also agree the Super G Plus design is the Best and Viper made it even better. I do also really like the Fusion with the endbell setup, that chassis handles better than my Vipers but is a bit slower on the straights. When it comes to club racing I have been going with the Fusion, they just de-slot a bit less than my Vipers at least the way I drive them...lol
Some assembly required! 😂👍 awww I wanted to see the build live...Well build this one and film the next one! 😂 looking forward to seeing the results! 😁👍🏁🏎
I have not taken the time to rebuild mine yet. I know some guys that do like them but from what I am hearing they take a lot of work to make them run well. I am going to stick with my Fusions.
@@marksslotcargarage ye the support parts is what gets me having a bunch in f different chassis… I went down that road once lmao … I currently mainly run tyco (oval racing local) and viper chassis on my home track

Thanks, I will let you know how it goes, will do a follow up video.
“Build quality” opinion Mark? Or maybe sum of the parts ? Looks good from here
I will do a follow up video with my take on it, man it was a pain to build, at least this first one.
Good luck Mark, I can’t wait to see it built. Merry Christmas.
Thanks Matt, I will do a follow up video once I complete the build.
This will be a fun project. Looking forward to seeing it whip around the track.
Thanks Chris! I will be doing a follow up video today.
looks like fun Mark, what body is it going under
Thanks Ted, I have a custom painted Lexan body for it. I will be doing a follow up video today.
is that from RPM??
Yup, hence the name of my video :-)
What do you think of it now?

Nice another chassis I want to try but can’t commit to the support parts for it lmao I’m curious how it works you may convince me to try one
It was not easy to build, at least not this first one. I will do a follow up video with my thoughts.
