A "Velha Bigorna" merece respeito. Você ainda vai precisar dela.
The "Old Anvil" deserves respect. You will still need it.
I’m kidding, I still love my old anvil.
@@diyguru1 That's right! 😄👍
Really nice build I have been searching the net as to what type I want to build. I like yours
Best. I thought I like that guy when you gave the finger to your anvil. I have been in search
For a good one for years. Not paying these CRAZY prices. I,m using a huge steel block from
A scrap yard. I subscribed & thank you my friend.
Tnx.
Meus parabéns amigo
Thanks
Very good
My congratulations 👏👏👏

Grate video
Do you have plans for this? i would love to build this for my blacksmith workshop
Great Man and genius,
Thank you Guru (teacher)

You Sir are a God amongst men!
Tnx.
You are very creative :) If you want, you can make DIY dip bars for your squat rack like rogue or something like that, but cheaper :)
waste of time and money, get a job on a ranch or iron work and get paid to work out
Looks great, wish you would have included some measurements and materials list, but Oh well, I guess I'll just have to come up with my own. Thanks for the video, wish you would have talk more though. 🖖😎
I didn't work on any blueprint. I got the measurements on the go depending on the material I had.
Nice looking power hammer. Can you share a material list?
Que bueno!!! 👏👏👏👏
Where you get the face shield with the ear muffs? Good ideas on how simple things can be changed to useful tool. One trailer axle is now.....
byowty machin 👍👍👍👍
tnx bro.more diy home gym please 😘
Tnx. My next project is a power rack add-on
@@diyguru1 lever arms next pls :) thank for your videos
Congrats
Great... If you need work, let me know?
super view
Hey from st lucia need one desperate how much?
Verry creative piece of equipment.
Nice clean lines and simple build thanks for sharing
Awesome build. Going to make one soon. I like the tire idea. I'm going to use an old solid forklift wheel for mine I think. And figure out a way to give it adjustment in the hammer lengths by doing a swap for moving the flywheel pin location. Not sure yet.
Question: How much did you spend in steel for this build?
Thank you. The whole machine weighs approx. 250 kg
Fantastic job. How tall is the post that holds the tire and how tall is the anvil (bottom post). This has been the best power hammer build on TH-cam. Yours is the only one I have seen that you can actually build from watching you build it..Hope to see more builds from you.. I am going to check out the knife build on your channel next.
Sorry for the late reply. The pillar is 2.3 m or 7.6 ft high.
Kewl hammer and build, subscribed :)
Great machine and it works....... Come winter do you need to change to a winter tire ? ? ?
:)
Great job done! However, the efficiency of the hammer can be increased by about 30 more%
Your video gave me some idea's, a little SLOWER and some measurements should have been nice.
Do you sell plans for this power hammer.
One of the best DIY hammers I have seen . (:
Unfortunately I have no plan. I worked out of my head.
Mistrz !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
Very nice work, do you by any chance sell building plans of it?
Unfortunately I don't have a draft. It's all in my head.
Bonito trabajo maestro.. Profabor me daría cuanto de hp tiene el motor.. O que motor recomienda..y de cuantos hp
This motor is 550w (0.7HP). It's an old pressdrill engine. A stronger engine would be even better.
Always bevel the material when it's thick otherwise it won't be a structural weld
Just a quick question. Is there a brake, or do you even need one on a light hammer like this? I'm going to be building a larger version of this type of hammer, and I'm planning a brake on mine.
I don’t have a brake and I don’t think it’s needed. After releasing the pedal, the anvil strikes once more and stops.
AC/DC ............bravo majstore!!!
:)
good evening. My name is Javier, I find your design very interesting. You could provide closer measurements to make a piece like the one you presented. greetings from Mexico
I don't have a draft. I worked from the material that I had, and I was determined measures on the fly.
Stuff like this is not an exact science. You take what you have on hand, copy the concepts the best you can, and tweak it as you go.
What are the dimensions of the upright with the wheel attached? I would guess based on the video somewhere in the neighborhood of 6 inch by 6 inch by 80 inch (15 x 15 x 200 cm)?
Tako je. 6x6x80 inch (15x15x200cm), a debljina je 0,2 inch (0,5cm).
Do you have a parts list?
Missing a brake to stop wheel from tuning when foot pedal is released ?
👏👏👏👏👏
Great Build! What size motor is that? HP, RPM, Voltage, etc...

So...is your next project a power rack add on?? Or...?

Where did you buy the polyamide pa6? I'm having trouble finding some.

I am curious shouldn't u let the concrete set good before welding that cap on for any expansion that may occur or contraction
Of course. I welded the cover the second day after the concrete had hardened.
@@diyguru1 oh ok I couldn't tell because of the time lapse just curious thank you and really cool set up
What did you fill your anvil stand “post” with?
Also concrete
Wonder what his next project is going to be? 🤔
I would of used lead instead of concrete for adding weight and noise reduction. Lead really absorbs so much better than crete. But I guess cost is another factor that must be considered. Nice work fella too. VF
I totally agree with you. But the price of lead would cost about 120USD, and concrete would cost me 18USD.
@@diyguru1 Shame you live far from me. I would of just given you the lead. Oh well, maybe next time. Keep up the builds for us all to see on TH-cam. VF
@@diyguru1 Amen to that fella for sure.
What about lead from tire weights. We used to throw buckets full of old weights at the tire shop I worked at.
@@joeysanchez5926 That is how I got lot of lead ingots for free. Not really sure one can call it free as cleaning and melting was time consuming and challenging too.
For all those wanting measurements. Here is a link for a rock crusher. It is not as refined as this power hammer. It can be adapted.
No insult intended to the builder of this power hammer as it is a very nice build.
I’m thinking a treadmill motor and controller for a hammer mill. Including the emergency stop
th-cam.com/video/yKnTT9XtkdM/w-d-xo.html
Is this a paper knife?
where did you get the drive wheel that is on the motor. i found a 4 inch
It is custom made. A friend has a lathe. I gave him the measurements
Is this machine all or nothing? Does it have a clutch like effect or not?
The harder the pedal is pressed, the faster the hammer strikes.
Sir your project is very efficient!!! Top !! Can i copy it?
Tnx. Of course you can copy. We are all TH-cam students :)
@@diyguru1 tnx a Lot sir!!!
Would love all the measurements etc to go with this and material list?
I would love to see a pdf blueprint for this as well . I think I'm in love with this hammer.😍
How to buy the engine..or what name of engine that
Sir can you tell me what is motor rpm and motor PH ?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Why do knives fascinate some people?
Not quite an instructional video, missing a few measurements. But a nice one none the less.
Do you have any new projects upсoming?
Probably making gym weights
What's the name of that song? 17 minutes wasn't enough, I need more
Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the song, but I downloaded it here. studio.th-cam.com/channels/e5x4qPs1ee3FDioUZtUTKw.htmlmusic
How much gym power rack axel is out of center?
Sorry. I did not understand the question.
Welding on a tire rim with rubber mounted can start a pyrolysis reaction and is a quick way to the emergency room or morgue, I'd highly advice against that for anyone watching this video.
Yep make sure you have tire deflated valve core removed. A good friends dad was welding on a wheel back when I was pretty young and it blew up and killed him be safe out there people
Pyrolysis is the reaction that happens when you apply heat to a material without oxygen. Or in more technical terms thermal decomposition of materials at elevated temperatures in an inert atmosphere. Which of course does not apply here. This does applies (in large) for making charcoal for example.
What can and WILL happen is the expansion of air inside the tire due to the increased temperature combined with localized weakening of rubber. It's not just best to remove the valve, it's better to remove the entire tire to prevent accidentally weakening your tire. High pressure blowouts are pretty dangerous, especially when you are welding up close. Serious injury or even death may occur.
But then again, the same applies for everything you see on the internet. USE YOUR BRAINS!!!!! DO.NOT.COPY.WITHOUT.THINKING.!!!
OHSA Section 25: Pyrolysis is a thermochemical decomposition of organic material which can occur at elevated temperatures in the absence of oxygen. This decomposition process only requires the presence of rubber and heat. When heat is applied to the tire or to tire components, hydrocarbon vapours are released inside the tire. As the vapours are released, the air pressure and temperature within the tire increase dramatically. These vapours are highly flammable. If the flammable vapour inside the tire makes contact with oxygen at a temperature in excess of 400 degrees Celsius, auto-ignition can occur, resulting in an explosion.
Once the decomposition process begins, it is irreversible. There is no visual indication that the decomposition process is taking place. Depending on the particular circumstances, an explosion may occur immediately, within minutes or several hours after the exposure to the heat source. In many instances, an explosion can cause the tire and/or wheel components to be thrown great distances, resulting in severe worker injuries and/or fatalities as well as significant property damage.
@@ferrumchnop6617 I can't fault you for quoting OSHA, but chemically speaking that's bullshit since most tires are filled with regular oxygen rich air.
Not to mention the rest of the explanation. Good enough for a regular OSHA warning, but scientifically incorrect all over.
but let's just stick to "it's dangerous"
OHSA and OSHA are two different things. Key word to the reaction being vapors. I understand what you were trying to say though.
Hi i am iranian and i enjoy this video but i cannot download pdf plan beacuse in iran we cannot have c cart please help me thanks
I don't have a PDF plan. If you mean a link it is an Internet site where the transmission ratio calculation is done.
do you even lift bro?
what motor did you use is it 110 or 220 v
220V. It’s a pretty weak 550W or 0.75HP motor, but it works. That engine is from an old press drill.
@@diyguru1 when you upgrade it go to 3 phase on a vfd

Yea this is a cool idea... I went with a simpler idea.

I sure wouldn’t mind getting a material list and measurements.
I don't mind.
could I get the same materials list and measurements? Montana USA
