I’ve to admit I dnf'd powerless after 70 pages because the writing wasn’t for me but seeing you having so much fun and enjoying it so thoroughly I’m seriously debating giving it another try 👀 I absolutely love your reading vlogs!! 🤍
I definitely didn't get the hype around it but I still had fun reading it. But don't be hard on yourself if you don't enjoy it as much as the others, it's okay 🫶🏻
Powerless is heavily character driven, mainly dialogue and very very much more of a romantasy. It can be hard to do as a YA without being a bit cliche or cringe but I definitely think Reckless is written a lot better and might be worth a try if you end up reading Powerless 🥰
Girl! I was just reading powerless and iam currently in chapter 46 and Iam already in LOVE with this book .I got sooo much butterflies and I was giggling and blushing while reading this book . Idk why others didn't liked it but it's my fav. Kai+Pae . I was so shocked to this just posted a few hours ago
Im literally crying why was this book just so so good I cant believe im saying this but i liked it even more than powerless and that is crazy coz I loved powerless to the ends of the earth
I’m so happy to hear you say Reckless is more fantasy/action/fast paced than Powerless was! I didn’t love Powerless, it was okay for me (3/3.5⭐️), but good enough to want to continue. But I am just a fantasy lover at the core, and romance needs to be more of a subplot for me (like TOG is my all time favorite). So I’m much more excited to pick Reckless up now I’ve seen your review 🙌🏻❤️
I disagreed with that aspect of the review. It felt like the whole book (Reckless) was just about their romance and conflicting feelings. IMO not that much happened other than that...
Ok.. mine is that as paedyn's father was betrayed by someone who informed the king bout the resistance I think it's Calum and he works for the king and was just putting up an act...but I don't know it's soooo confusing😢😢

I just finished reading powerful and I nearly cried. I DO NOT CRY EASILY, I very rarely ever cry like ever because I look really bad when I do and am super self conscious of it. I have never cried because of a movie or a book but this was so so so close, like I had tears welling in my eyes, idk if that counts as crying or not but 😢

I’ve only recently started reading this yr.. Started off with Fourth wing and Iron flame. ❤ Then went onto ACOTAR and absolutely ❤ Followed by Crescent City Universe and really absolutely ❤ Read Powerless and Powerful and thoroughly enjoyed them both. Have been dying for Reckless to be released. So started the Throne of glass series and not quite half way through Heir of Fire and had to stop and read Reckless as soon as it was released!!! LIKE OMG!!! It was worth the wait!! I have really enjoyed all the books I’ve read this yr…but I gotta say…. I think Lauren Roberts has just sneaked in first place after reading Reckless!!! I’m literally shattered i can’t just dive into the next book and have to wait however long for the next one now!!! 😅 My heart and mind are like blown right now!!! Loving and embracing the anticipation of what’s to come next now!! ❤

I've finished these books, it's been about a week since I finished and I still can't stop thinking about powerless, powerful, reckless. I will never be able to forget about these books 🥵🥹 no, I'm still not ok
I was so disappointed with Reckless after loving Powerless. It irritated me and I heavily disliked both of them in Reckless. In Powerless we had a plot but Reckless had absolutely none. Made me so sad because I really enjoyed Powerless. 🥹
U know, it's a really interesting opinion you have on this book, coz i was actually feeling the same at the first 20-30% of reckless. But, my view of this seemingly lost plot and slightly crumpled composition changed with further reading of the book. I realized, that it was specially conceived to show the whole range of emotions and sensations of Pae&Kai from what is happening, such as in different situations(like their time in Dor, that struggles and meeting Lenny with Mixes for Pae's coming story of birth , then again some revealing conversations etc😭) so in my opinion it turned out great(even though recently i thought there was no unique aesthetic/theme in that book comparing it with stunning powerless things))) so i understand what you are talking about!
