The standard red meat you tried first looked a little basic but that spiced one looked incredible!

Once the fresh naan is introduced this looks like a real gem. Nearly all of the pakistani run places in Bristol make you a delightful, fresh naan which takes it to the next level. I remember the same in Manchester. Cracking review as always sir. 10k awaits and as previously mentioned, get yourself down south!
There was a Takeaway in Newcastle years ago that done red kebab meat called Eastern Delight on Collingwood Street, Anyone who can remember will know? It was literally ruby red and i still remember the price!! Large Donnar with salad and chips was £8.00 and that had to be 2001-2002.

Then came rochdale and camel one manchester.
What year you talking because Al Fayyaz in Oldham was doing it over 25 years ago
Nice one for saying Rochdale first, best place the kebab house millstone road untouchable , also listen you should try Mazza and lazeeza in Stockport road Manchester
Mazaa is nice but nothing stand-out or special like TKB in Rochdale :)
The kebab house is the best if you want a bad stomach the next day.
Kebab house donner quality has gone downhill in last 6 months. No longer is meaty

So what’s difference between normal donner and red donner? Is it just food colouring?
Usually spiced along with it, Tandoori style spices but it varies from place to place along with the difference in the quality of the meat itself.

@Susan Hinchcliffe you can get those prices if you go to predominantly Asian areas in London. Roman road I got chicken naga doner, fresh naan, salad, sauce, chips and a can for £5.50.
its bought in red dyed ..theres lots of people throwing their standard donner then masala paste with it thats the best way .. this is just mass produced.wont be as good ..
