Who danced each move in LOCO best?

- Remember this isn’t an in depth analysis or a competition or anything, just showing off great moments to learn from! Also the intro song is my edit of Savage lol
Here is the approx amount of time I spent on each member but, again, it doesn’t mean a lot since not all moves are the same difficulty or length.
Yeji = 64s (17 focus moments)
Ryujin = 38s (11 focus moments)
Yuna = 33s (11 focus moments)
Chaeryeong = 24s (7 focus moments)
Lia = 12s (4 focus moments)
Here is what I noticed about the members and the dance.
The dance itself may be one of ITZY’s easiest but it’s still rather hard due to the speed and the little details within each move. Each member picks up these tiny details that I even see other idols or dance cover people missing when covering. They truly know the dance inside out.
Yeji
I think this may be some of her best work and the choreo very much suits her style. She has exceptional control over her body and uses everything to add to the song when necessary. Sometimes it gets a little too much and she does the move incorrectly though.
Ryujin
This may also be some of the best I’ve seen from Ryujin. Especially during the dance break, her sense of musicality is amazing. She adds just the right amount of power to every move. Her angles are also better than usual here. Sometimes she doesn’t complete a few moves though.
Yuna
Like always, Yuna has a great sense for dance and performance. She usually has some of the best angles when it comes to a head tilt, a hip pop, etc. She doesn’t have quite the same control on faster moves as the dance line in ITZY but she’s eye catching as always.
Chaeryeong
I am very sure that Chaeryeong’s outfit got in her way here. Since the movements on her bottom half were almost always the issue, I believe the leather skirt was constricting her movements. The baggy sweater over her hands doesn’t help either. Clearly Chaeryeong is a spectacular dancer but, in this particular video, there are many moves she does incorrectly, cuts short, or is even off time for which is quite unlike her. Even so, she still does very well with many moves which shows how amazing she is even when restricted.
Lia
Throughout the dance Lia makes good choices to emphasize the move and the beats in the music. Her hip movements are notably very good throughout the entire video. She’s also one of the best with her head movements and keeping them accurate and consistent throughout the dance. There are issues with her positioning at times (how she’s holding her arms and legs etc). And she does have the most issues with timing as well although they’re quite rare.
Remember that my observations aren't objective truth and one video doesn't always capture the best of everyone. Even the 1st chorus was quite different than the 2nd with how well each person did. Please feel free to take a look at the moves yourself and reach your own conclusions!
I was extra impressed with Yeji and Ryujin in this video and highkey extra impressed with everything this whole era! Although this is an "Easier" dance than some other ITZY stuff I think they all really fit this concept which makes the dance stand out more!

@@choerrychile5042 it's a bit older now and these take a lot of time for me hence why I took a break for a whole month it was a lot for me mentally with the stress of work and school. While I enjoy the dance and song I don't know Weeekly as a group that well either. If you (or anyone else) wants to analyze it or even do then I encourage it but unfortunately I am unable to do every release even some I really enjoy

I definitely think Lia improves every comeback. She may not be the best dancer, but she always tries her best so it doesn’t look weird since there are 4 dancers and one vocalist. I know the other girls probably helped her with certain parts just like she taught them English. They all have each other’s backs, which is why I love them!

i think chaeryeongs dance abilities were quite restricted due to how short and tight her skirt is, but if there was an unmoving dance practice she’d probably be able to shine more
I agree. Even in her individual cam she did a bit better but, when considering how they move in the dance, the one with all the members will be most accurate to what they're used to (and what we are used to) so that's why I prefer to view it

As a dancer myself I can say who is natural and who is not, Yeji tends to overdance sometimes and lacks in isolations, which doesn't come naturally

Yeji underdances sometimes.. the perfect example of overdancing is yuna she does that a lot of times but she stopped doing it nowadays.. she used to, u can see her wannabe dance.. chae also overdances sometimes.. yeji has more of locking and sharp moves while chae is fluid both of the techniques can be natural or either u can get trained in it.. yeji has the idol dancing technique while chae has more of dancer technique like some dancers in swf🤡

I think I don't agree with the dance break (first part), 'cause Chaeryeong was clearly more fluid, it is so addicting to watch that part. But Yeji really owned this dance, it suits her the best.
In general I believe she is (at least from what I've seen of their live stages) but she doesn't have the same musicality in her footwork as Ryujin in this particular video. As I said, this is likely due to her skirt restricting her
It's a solo fan comment, Yeji has never had this choreography, it's from the beginning and clearly an entire Itzi dance as Yeji said.. It's a song designed for all five of them together.
Yeh actually i watched all their fancams and in the first part of dance break Chaeryeong was the cleanest. I agree with the Yeji parts tho

Yeji often gets praise as someone who has good vocals, nice rapping tone and delivery, great charisma and stage presence, facial expressions and visuals but admit it or not, we seldom see Yeji being praise as the main dancer. Im just pointing out Yuna despite being one of the most popular, rarely get praise for her vocals, rap and dance. In dance, it Yeji and Chaer. Vocals, it Yeji, Lia Chae. Rap it Ryujin and Yeji. Almost no one praise Yuna for all that thing.

Some of y’all clearly didn’t read the description where SoshiMochi always talks about each member’s abilities as a whole in every video. Chaer is a great dancer but her outfit was restricting her in this video, which is why her focus moments were fewer. I’m this video Yeji and Ryujin executed the choreo the best in SoshiMochi’s POV bc of that.

@@yers9150 cuz in dance practice the camera keeps zoom in zoom out etc (idk how they called) So, in majority of the part we cannot see the full movement of every member while in this video the camera just stay still and capture every movement of the member.

I think the reason why chaeryeong was not mentioned most is because her outfit is the most uncomfortable like they're dancing and they make her wear skirt. Lia is really great now. Like hella, you can see her improvements.
