I recently read that zoologists are surprised by the decline in amphibians over the last few decades... while sad, I don't know why they're surprised, it seems every species of amphibian shares a brain cell between its entire population.
I mean, if you look into what can affect a frog/toad's lifespan, a lot of it involves the biome it lives in and since a lot of biomes have been altered due to invasive species or human tampering and pollution, all of these are what could be making amphibians endangered.. that or they are doing their best to adapt to their new environment by either moving to a better location or changing their mental clocks for hunting.

I have a pet grey tree frog and I’m not sure if the small brown one is a grey tree frog but I know grey tree frogs can be green gray and shades of brown so If you can respond and tell me what breed he/she is that could be helpful
