It really sucks that Skrillex has all the talent in the world, yet he rarely puts it to use nowadays. This is the sound that makes him an absolute savage on a live set. That nasty dubstep/breaks/riddim/trap fusion is total perfection. Why he decided to stray away from his hard stuff and go to that light chill crap I will never understand. Skrillex was untouchable back in the day. The Mothership Tour era was him at his peak. His sets were god mode.
