If this is the case, that will be an offend to all families.
The OI proposal was no way to refuse.
I will be ready to publicly confront the Malaysian government with evidence and telling loudly and clearly what they hide to the public if they don't change their position.
For the moment, I stay comprehensive but that would not be the case if they continue like that.

You have evidence the Malaysian Government is hiding something?
It’s been 10 years, how many more should we wait till we find out what Malaysian Government is hiding?

Ocean Infinity has offered to do a new search to the Malaysian government in May 2024. If they find MH370 Malaysia will be charged for the search. If they do not find it there with be no cost for Malaysia.
That being said, if the highest priority for the Malaysian government is finding MH370 why would there be any hesitation in agreeing to this???
    This in itself speaks volumes....

It is not so much the cost of the search that Malaysia fears, but rather the potential consequences of being prosecuted if the wreckage or flight data recorder (FDR) reveals evidence of their direct or indirect responsibility for the crash, such as withholding radar information, negligence in any form, and so on. In such a case, the cost for Malaysia could far exceed the cost of the search.

I get what you're saying & totally agree. It's the conteadiction of what they say publically about it being the highest priority, but their behavior doesn't always reflect that. All it does is create even more suspicion IMO.

@@steph7793 That's why we must seriously explore ways to fund a MH370 search WITHOUT the Malaysian government involved. The wreckage of Titanic was also discovered without Cunard Line paying for it. There needs to be ways to find MH370 without shady politicians being involved.

They know full well the pilot did it and that's why they've got no desire to find it as both the airline and government will be sued to the ground.

MH370 must be found to all concerned. It's so important has to how it crashed and what caused it. The truth hurts so let's find out.

They won't find it because of who was on it and what it was carrying, no government is going to be that stupid.

Let's remain hopeful the new search is not "dead", but only postponed to 2026. The best time-window for the search is Jan-March (due to weather conditions), now January is almost over, maybe that's why Ocean Infinity drove off. Till 2026, there needs to be media pressure on Malaysia. Since Malaysia itself barely has any critical media, it's up to foreign media (Australia, USA, Al-Jazeera, you name it) to pressure Malaysia about MH370. Journalists should investigate WHO exactly prevented this search. Let's put their names in the headlines! We owe it to the next-of-kin of MH370. It can't be that a few shady figures behind closed doors in Putrajaya prevent a new search. Either Malaysia accepts a deal for 2026, or the search has to start without them. Media pressure will be key.

Again, which country is responsible for such area of interesting? Aviation and Naval transportation had set regions where the country close to wreckage is responsible to provide assistance to boats and also search for the sinked boats or crashed airplanes. The Hamburgo Convention in 1979 set responsibility on Australian Maritime Safety Authorites for SAR operations on South Indian Ocean. Why you are especulativos and waiting for Malaysia?

Because this is not a "Search and Rescue" mission. But a search for a wreckage and dead bodies. There are no international contracts covering this.

The families will never rest until they know. Just imagine if you had a loved one that was on that plane. You would not rest. Think about it!
