its not hard i did it on superstar hero multiple times, its harder when people are helping you as multiplayer reduces damage dealt to enemies, and it's worse when your teammates are total shit so you're basically playing alome with higher difficulty
Photon swarm and Ion Blaster are the best weapons for the Supernova arc, closely followed by Utensil Poker.
