The only reason why this former leader whom I use to have high respects for but no more, is still relevant is due to continuous bad leadership that have come after him, and for which he has had hand directly or indirectly in installing. This is the only president after him that he had no hand in his installation, perhaps more is that he worked against him in winning the 2023 election. The truth is that President Tinubu will dwarf all the so called achievements he thinks he made while in office. I have never seen such a saddist leader in my life. He should keep quiet for once.

The least our government can do is to privatize all these refineries. Bureaucracy in our govt is what lead these refineries into these mess. Govt involvement in business transactions would always lead to corruption. Expert says Warri and port harcourt refineries were not even refining PMS and some of their pipelines are damaged.

On the contrary. The difference now is the introduction of Dangote refinery which the NNPCL had tried several times to frustrate his efforts and met serious backlash. Tinubu is not the difference maker here. I do believe that Tinubu would have done much better than Buhari in the economic sense if he had taken over immediately after the PDP. But in the case of this NNPCL, they are riddled with the most corruption in Nigeria. When they seen Dangote was just about ready to go on stream and about to deliver on his promise, they pannicked because it will throw a wrench in the decades long corrupt practices they had grown accustomed to.

No!!, please. Don't misrepresent Obasanjo understanding. There is protocol, manner, and a way you could approach and invite an elderstatement to have a check on progress made by any current government. Infact, I look at it as an honour, but that depends on the manner of approach and the circumstances surrounding the issue at stake; it shouldn't be done as insulting or disproving the capacity/ character of the personality of president Obasanjo.
Nigerians have high esteem to president Obasanjo; because he has also tried in his time. Infact, achievement made today on the Warri NNPCL, is a continuous process from previous to present government. So it should not be implied as solely achievement of Tinubu, far from that;Turn around maintenance has been in since Abatcha time. So don't invite president Obasanjo with intent to insult him. We should have due respect to him and accept his criticism as a stepping stone to good governance.
    Thank.

You guys are just ripe with Tinibu that's all. The Porthacourt refinaries all put together are producing only 165000 barels of pms per day. What is the full capacity is the question you must ask not blaming Obasanjo preriod

    Obasanjo is a true state-man.
The only bold enough man to speak truth to power. Here, on this channel, you castigate him for stating the obvious. Tinubu, your boss, did not fix this refinery.. It started with Buhari. Kudos to OBJ for his honesty and bold criticism.
