Hello everyone,
In this video I have explained the basic framework of Small Teermanam in Pancha Jaatis.
Ta Dhin Ki Na Tom and Kita Taka Tari Kita Tom are Mridangam shollus, hence do not confuse it with Tai Dhit Dhit Tai shollus, which are called Adavu Shollus.
This video was the most challenging to edit until now. Had to insert lot of boxes and effects. But it was fun!

I am 40 and I have been learning for last 2 years but I don't understand taalam , jathi, chaappu.. I learnt as a child for 1.5 years and therefore, progressed quickly now to varnam but my teacher is getting frustrated that my body does not understand the rhythm as I lack understanding in this area. Like you said in your video, it makes me sad. Would you be interested in taking online session? (as I live in UK)
