Have a great time at the NEC, we loved having a wonder around when we’ve been, a long tiring day for us as we travel from West Sussex but worth it. we’re the same as you we don’t ever leave our dogs in the Motorhome,
Great vlog. We love the Space... in the A. class. I did a little mod to the table which gave us more room to get round it. But the extra space was a deciding factor when we got Genny. Can you have a look and see if there is a type of """ pan """ like a ridge monkey. That works on an induction hob.... all the monkeys are ally... Fire sticks work. The dry powder works but if you use it inside your van then your next step will be a rewire... as the chemical eats away the insulation on wiring. I will involved in a fire on a boat where dry powder was used.... the result was catastrophic. We had to do a FULL rewire of the engine control systems... We have a fire stick and a liquid extinguisher. No dry powder...... We also have starlink so looking forward seeing your power solution . .
I shall see if I can locate said pan - loads of folks have been caught out on inductions with RMs... somebody muxt have sorted it. Good info on firestick thingies and dry powder - didn't know that...
Only tend to go every other year , the bike museum is only across the way from the NEC BTW 🤔 , not a fan of the A class and alot of continental style motorhomes , the hab door is on the wrong side for the UK , does work in Europe though , look forward to all the vlogs , saves my legs , as for the loos issue, not found a problem yet , thanks for taking the time to share
Been following that since its start... have to admit, I'd much prefer going back to the full 7.5 tonnes as my license currently is - being such an old bloke and all - but even 4.25 tonnes won't help with outs - it's 4.5 tonnes, and we need just about all of that. Although, I suppose we could downplate to 4.25 and fill the trailer more!
When you go to the show we would be really interested in any demos on caravan/motorhome sat navs. Trying to decide which is the most reliable. On a sad note we have just been emailed today by our caravan dealer Teesside Caravans that they are closing with immediate effect 😢 We have bought 2 vans from them and found them excellent. The caravan/ motorhome industry is really suffering at the moment . There are going to be less dealers at the show this year.
Nothing new to report, I'm afraid - we'd been using a "renewed" Garmin for ages before we got the new van - never let us down, and pretty much the same model others badge as theirs... amzn.to/3YqJ3TP

Excited - it’s our first visit!

The door thing is a thing, aye. On the loo front, ours is one of the few we’ve found that has the legroom with doors closed. Same on planes…
There are talks of the EU changing the B licence to 4.25 ton's, hope this happens and the UK change too. Do a search for more info.

Satnavs added to the list - we'll see what we can find...
Yes, read about Teesside Caravans a day or two back - didn't see that coming at all...
@@VandromedasTravels Thanks will look forward to your video of the show

Have you invested in the eco flow alternator charger
Not as yet - but it’s very much on the cards. Just need t find the alternator terminals in the elastic trickery cupboard in the boot.
