I’m watching this as I’m updating my rear end, stupid ass axles seized into the hub gah damn been pounding these so long, just saw the part where you shmacked the piece off the diff 😂 I’m worried about doing the same to mine
@@ddbbuilds just take the diff cover off and use a vise to press it in if you don’t have a wheel bearing kit. I really thought of doing it but didn’t wanna spend $15 on gasket maker but ended up spending $150 on a new cover 😭 and heat up the hub to expand the hub. If you put direct heat onto the axle it’s just expanding that instead of the hub which will obviously make it tighter and harder to come off
@ RIP I’ve got a kit but will def be heating it up lol, I was gonna say too, ik it makes them a lot easier to go in if you put them in the freezer for a bit

Brother is going through trials and tribulations with this rear end.
I’m struggling taking the stock rear end off the car right now 🤣 it’s an upstate ny car and everything is seized together
You definitely went the extra mile to get this done the right way! Can’t wait to see it on the car and running 🙌🏼
Got some more videos coming up soon!
