@@goodlucknyakila2020 the hymn was written by Enoch Sontonga, a Xhosa man in South Africa in the 1890s. but it was banned by the Apartheid government. Tanzania started using it as their anthem first, when they got independence.

I admire how the South African Anthem was actually a prayer for the whole of the continent. As someone who understands the Xhosa/Zulu language which have been interchangeable used on the first Stanza.

I'm from the small Congo, or Congo Brazzaville. The Tanzanian national anthem is sung in churches in various local languages inside different African countries. It would be great to have it as the African anthem. We may all sing it in our languages.

Composed by WILLIAM KAKOMA in 1962 during independence. Its in two versions one in English and another in Swahili.

The Tanzanian and South African anthems are the African anthem which used to be sang in most African countries before they became independent and came up with their own anthems. In Zimbabwe that is the same anthem we used to sing but in Zimbabwean languages "Ishe komborera Africa" before Zimbabwe independence. That's the anthem I grew up singing. And it was written by a South African in the 19th century

This is a great job, I don't know of the other country's anthem but I think you could've searched for the Ghana's original anthem.
Because it naturally has a very sensitive spirit which touches every true Ghanaian from head to toe.
