- First time listening to both Hillsong United Oceans and Gabriel Henrique & Pedro Henrique "Oceanos"!!!
I couldn't keep away from listening to more of Gabriel after so many of you beautiful people recommended so many awesome things to react to! 🙌🏾 I said it before on my last video, Gabriel is what reaction channels like mine are for... very happy to have come across him! ☺️
"Oceanos" was recommended quite a bit so that is where we pick up our Gabriel journey... this time with Pedro Henrique! (Really keen to find out if they're actually related...?? if they are, let me know please!) lol
Also decided to listen both songs back to back so I could get a good feel of what Gabriel did with it as opposed to the original... let's just say the two of them took an already great song and took it to another level for me personally.... still love to Hillsong though! 🤪

I came back to this after a couple of months and it is so incredibly sad that Pedro is no longer with us. This duet is for the ages and truly angelic. It just takes you to a heavenly place. It is so peaceful - I am literally in tears right now. Truly outstanding - both of them and especially together. ❤❤🩹💔

in my opinion, I've seen everything on You tube but in Soul & Blues improvisation
so there are 2 schools
Brazil and USA. that gospel singers do incredible things.
pop/rock singers don't do it because they don't hit the notes on the whistle.
in my opinion and many more than 2 million people chose gabriel as the best gospel cover. and reference the American singing teachers are many taking the gospel style of gabriel and his Tecniba so Soul to teach in their classes, because on You tube, Gabriel turned to SOUL & BLUES songs and techniques.

I've been watching music reactions on TH-cam for about 3 years, and this specific performance is at the TOP of everything I have discovered. I personally prefer the perfection of recorded music (and I'm rather certain that this track was pre-recorded as they appear to be lip syncing to their studio recording) so I just adore this song/video/performance. I also am not religious at all, but music such as this still stirs your emotions. It brings tears to my eyes every time. Lots of people on TH-cam are getting exposed to Gabriel Henrique for good reason, but Pedro's ability and beautiful tone are exceptional as well. Together, the two of them created something incredible here. My other favorite Gabriel Henrique song is his cover of Bruno Mars' "Talking To The Moon" and his cover of "Never Enough" is also really good.
Gabriel will be the first to tell you, he doesn't lipsync. But you are right about this performance being one of the best.
@@nancyskomars1230 I don't doubt that Gabriel sings live during television appearances/concerts, but it's pretty obvious neither of them are singing 'live' during "Oceanos" here. The vocals are just too perfect (Gabriel exhibits rawness, imperfections and sometimes makes little errors with phrasing/tempo when he sings live)-- it's the sound quality and perfection of a studio recording. Also, if you look closely, at times their mouth and body movements don't quite match the vocals. Gabriel has a wonderful voice and great ability, but he's not perfect. No one is.
@@bsc2863 I am...perfect, that is. It took 75 years but now I'm perfect! Did Gabriel lipsync when he sang with Jade Salles? Or with Pedro on Porque ele Vive? You should ask them.
@@nancyskomars1230 I hadn't watched the "Endless Love" duet before, but I just watched it now. Jade appears to be lip synching at times (the most glaringly obvious instance is at 1:53 when she shuts her mouth yet a woman's voice continues to be heard for a few seconds. I didn't notice anything suspicious until 4:10 when his final note/run begins but he visually appears to 'react' a second late. There have obviously been vocal tracks added to this performance post-production. My impression is that they were singing live for this performance, but that is not what we are actually hearing -- we are hear a studio recording that was added to this video.
I just now watched "Por Que Ele Vive" for the 2nd time. Gabriel's very first note in the song does not 'sync' with his vocal position and body movement. My conclusion for this song is the exact same as what I said for their "Oceanos" duet -- a produced studio recording has been placed over this video. Certainly they ARE singing when they record these videos, but the vocals we end up hearing are not what was coming out of their mouths at the time -- we are hearing produced studio recordings. Hence why they SOUND so perfect yet don't look so perfect.
@@bsc2863 you should connect with a guy from Italy who insists, several times, to several reactors, that Gabriel lipsynced O Holy Night. We disagreed. You'll have more fun talking to him. I was so focused on the vocals, the interaction of the vocalists and the song, I missed all those precise moments. I like listening my way! Have a nice day.
