How did you painted that cardboard is not soaked paint/water? Every time I do that the cardboard is soaking and it does not look good when dried (I use just acrylic paint, no water)?
No, I don't add glue to the paint (never thought about it Lol). Only if I do furniture I make a layer of glue and newspapers for durability before paint it
Hi! Good job! I was wondering... the lift goes up. Ok. Then stop (maybe due friction of the elevator or the wheel). But I can't figure out how it goes down again. The rope is flexible right? It can't push the elevator down. Thank you for your help !
Hi, it has stoppers glues from the inside of the tower to stop, and elevator carriage should be a little smaller than tower inside so it slides down under its own weight and pull of gravity as you unroll the rope back. If kid loads it with cars it moves quicker )

yes i use acrylic paint from Michaels. i don't mix them with water. i have acrylic paint from Walmart as well but they are not so good, watery
