I think these two co-hosted the afternoon Radio show on the Mothership a NUMBER of years ago. I've always enjoyed their chemistry and mutual respect. Always enjoy hearing Sean and his takes. Respect!
I’m up in Minnesota….I’ve NEVER watched the Vikings. But I watch the 4 game screens on the NFL Ticket, and those Vikings look good so far this year. I’ll keep an eye on ‘em over the next month and see how they do… One things for sure, I won’t be watching the Cowboys….oh brother, what a trailer fire.
At about $4 million a year, Russ is a fair gamble for a veteran backup quarterback who’s pretty likely to start at some point this season, given Fields’ injury history and inconsistent play.
I love how just about every Analyst on TV/Radio is canceling Russ Wilson and saying he shouldn't get on the field despite not throwing 1 regular season pass for the Steelers... Justin Field has had a nice first 3 games but let's not confuse his performance with a dominant performance. He's played well enuff not to be the reason the Steelers lose, while letting the Defense be the reason they win... With that said who knows which QB Tomlin will pick to start permanently but IMO I would lean towards Russ if nothing else just to see what you have with him...
Unrelated to the interview, but I fail to get the "Shea in Irving" bit. It doesn't add to the show and isn't funny at all. Same with some of the callers that they push to the front of the line when they call in (Buddha, Andrew in Washington, etc...).
Most people are thoroughbred haters. Cowboys are always in the media and those people are the types to enjoy drinking shea's tears after the cowboys lose. Plus he seems to entertain danny.
Russell Wilson has a chance. Odds are Fields misses a game or two. Russell, if he is smart, he will play the way Fields is. It seems to me the Steelers will only need to score 21 or more points a handful of times. Fields is doing what Tomlin and the team need: mistake free football. Fields will gather an even better feel for his receivers. When that happens, combined with their run game, they will he a tough out. I am a Seahawks fan and have been since game 1 in 1976. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Russ. The best thing for the Steelers is for Fields to succeed. He is probably 10 years younger and has better wheels than Russ did in his prime. If Russ is a good team player, he will help Justin avoid some pitfalls. If Fields does sustain an injury that puts him out a month, what a good backup they have. Russ will need to play even kealed, and mostly get the ball out quicker than usual. The Steelers like many teams are not great at pass protecting. We all know Russ likes to hang on to the ball and look for the big shot. He will need to recognize if he has the time. Meanwhile, if Fields keeps the team moving forward, they will be good. Despite the fact that I wanted Russ to have one more chance with a good team. Fields would need to play three real stinkers to lose his job. Personally speaking, Geno Smith is heads above either Pittsburgh QB. He has an even softer O line but is getting the job done. There are not many people outside of the Emerald city that know how accurate he is. Go Hawks 😊
pit has had some of the easiest schedules to date. very lucky the last 8-9 weeks of the season i can see them going 1-9. they are one of the fakest 3-0 teams in recent NFL history

Sean brings an honest voice to these types of conversations---something lacking in the lamestream media
Always been a big fan of Sean...a likable, outgoing, knowledgeable guy.
Great interview and as always Sean delivers with impact and great insight! And doesn't respond in platitudes!
Love Sean and wish he was doing national coverage still. ESPN are such suckholes when it comes to not wanting personalities to be personalities.

WOW... Salisbury has really cleaned up his communication skill...he used to be a bad stutterer... good work Sean... I love your insight...👍✌️😁
I agree, keep Wilson on the bench, go Fields!

I’m glad he called out Saquon for being a chump!!

Is he the guy who invented Salisbury steak

Tales from the crypt 🙂↔️
Old man: it was better back then.
Other old man: I agree.
It certainly was
Your talking to a Houston sportscaster and your first question is about Dallas?
Angels beat Houston/cheaters yesterday tho⚾️
Yet, they’ll still win the AL West 😊
