Nearly every hotel allows you to book now and pay later. Honestly as crappy as Circus Circus is, it's the best hotel for CES because it's cheap and it's within a 15 min walk of the Convention Center and usually there's always room available. Although I haven't stayed there since my last CES 13 yrs ago (I think that was my last CES). But it was the hotel I loved to complain about but low key loved the room. But I think has fallen off a cliff since then.
Another tip, sometimes if you go on the last day at near closing. You can get some good portable gadgets as people don't want to pack that stuff up.
As someone who goes to Vegas every year for a Film Convention. And covers other big conventions over the years (like SDCC) WiFi never works. Vegas is one of the worst places for Wifi. So I wouldn't plan on posting videos every day or being obsessed over getting something up every day. Unless you are getting paid by someone. As a small content creator just focus on making connections and experiencing the show.
PR People aren't watching your videos while they are at the show. So send them links once you get back and create quality content of the booths.
Just enjoy the convention and record as much content as you can and just post it once you get back. It's not that serious where you have to post every single day. Definitely bring plenty of portable charging gear.
To avoid getting sick take cough and stomach medicine ahead of time. Its easier to prevent the Convention Crud than it is to fight it after you get hit with it. I never learn this lesson myself.

This is really great info!! Thank you for sharing!! That’s really good insight that the accounts are not watching the vids through the week as well. I know a lot of ppl want to rush the content out, but sharing it the following weeks when the brands return is ideal when looking to build your network and relationships.
I made the mistake of leaving mid day Friday. I will definitely plan to stay next year for the whole event including the closing party to get that last chance to network!!
