@@redfire126 It probably is the best one Disney has made. I'd still rather watch the original though and think it is much, much, much better. So IMO it's hard to even justify why the remakes exist other than to make money which is sad if this is the logic Disney is applying to all future projects.
I watched the live action version of this song today and couldn't believe the lack of emotion in that song. Compared to the original voice actor of Aladdin, the new one was such a letdown and I can't figure out why that version made it to post. He's got no inflection in his voice, and the only line that was delivered better was the line "Still I think he's rather tasty" which wasn't even sung by Aladdin. Idk man, I just want more good originals instead of remakes, when will they understand?
Nah, the whole thing is about him being fun and mischievous and outsmarting the others while being kind of chuffed with himself. I think he pulled it off pretty well

More character and energy than the live action remake.
I thought the remake had some good moments but overall it was very very bad. The actor who plays Aladdin was laughably bad.
