@@chrissagadraca5313 thanks! Do you know why the manufacturer says not to do this? Something about the fixed choke? Have you been shooting slugs for a while; or was this just a one-off? (I'm now also wondering maybe this is why you say your wife is gonna kill you!) I kinda feel like, based on all the comments I've seen, that the gun doesn't really have an issue with slugs. Maybe the distributor is just being overly cautious for liability reasons? Thanks again!
They sell the adapter together with that mount. What you need to do is you need to take off your rear sight and where that screw is to screw in your rear sight you going to have to put that rail and adjust it to the way you want it and then screw your new adapter into where your rear side was
No it doesn't have a picatinny rail on it. It has a shoots I don't know what's the diameter on that semi slide above my 12 gauge but it fits a dovetail mount on it. Something like the real on a 22 long rifle.

I run a cheap Walmart optic on mine. Didn't make sense to pay more for a red dot than I did the gun hahahahaha. Functions just fine

BTW, just picked one up online for $130! They just quickly put the price back at $209.99. Glad I jumped at it.

I'm a total noob when it comes to optics. Do you have a sight specifically made for the dovetail rail? Or do you have some kind of adapter on it?
Look for the dovetail adapter that you can put on a rifle scope on they sell it on eBay. I have the Romeo 5 SIG Sauer optic sights.

That real adapter for the Romeo 5 goes on a 10/22 rifle look up 10/22 rifle low profile rails
So you had trouble with cycling as well?
I had cycling issues, it was sent for repair, but the issue still remained, so they sent a new one, and this one is working fine.
