I was extremely sad too see Dave leave. He is a world class drummer and is the most consistent drummer I've ever seen live. Glad too see they have picked this guy , as i was worried about the replacement. Looking forward too seeing you play other DF songs man \m/
@@larsulrich26ulrich42 Dave always triggered his bass drums live and in studio. I think he had a sponsor for them but nonetheless, his bass drum beaters were positioned inside the drum, and when he pressed down they'd fly up and activate the trigger. He did play all of those fast strokes in every song studio and live, it was just triggered for a more consistent sound :)

Some people say that triggers are cheating and in some cases they are, but I would disagree on Dave's case. He was and still is a VERY tight drummer and played everything consistently and with tons of power. Dave is far from sloppy. If you go watch a drum cam of him, you'll see he is way tight and knows the music, but he just has triggered bass drums

Also you need to beat the speed record in dragonforce for the next album when ever it will come out. Try to attempt aND make a 250 BPM song in the next album if you can. That would will be even better if you make a music video for it. Hope your enjoying dragonforce by the way. Love watching the live performances on youtube . Hope to actually see one live show myself . That's my wish.
