I'd say that while this game may not be as big of a success as what Hoyo or Project Moon has done, PGR is important to Kuro. Comparing to other gacha games, PGR doesn't have a fanbase or income as big as them, but still manages to improve itself and stay competitive as a game itself. I love how so many people think PGR is a failure while we global players just keep on eating good on literally every patch moving forward. My first gacha are hoyo games (First is HI3, then Genshin and HSR). Tried many others including Arknights (quit it cause I'm both a lore/story and combat player and I'm overwhelmed by AK's plethora of story) and other obscure ones. Then I tried PGR during Luna's release and it became my favorite gacha game in general. Now, I only play PGR, R1999, and Genshin (but solely for the qrchon quest only). Literally the only gacha game I respect. As long as they keep their feet on the ground avoid shit like the initial release. It's not perfect but currently, the good far outweighs the bad.
Lack of advertising (until recently), too many mini games and forced trial characters, no Blue Rose for global players and zero chance of it ever coming back. But the combat and guaranteed f2p S rank makes up for it. At the same time I think they’re shooting themselves in the foot cause people like me feel like there’s no need to spend to enjoy PGR. For me, it started to not be worth spending because a lot of content is just farming a very easy event stage, doing mini games and playing roguelike modes with trial characters. Only place you’ll be able to take advantage of a highly built constructs is maybe Paincage and Warzones but you don’t really get much out of tryharding there and it’s very doable even with outdated characters.
burnout in AK isn't surprising given how often they do "challenging" contents. For me the quitting point was the monotony of it all, not enough variety in content. Just got stale tbh.

I love this game and I've been playing every single day since it released in global. In CN I played it for like half a year. Its an amazing game. I keep my monthly 5€ subscription, cause Kuro deserves my money. They made an amazing game, that is extremely fun and isn't greedy. I take my time in getting characters and dont spend any money outside of the monthly sub I just said. I've played a lot of games in my life, a lot of F2P specially, and almost none made me wanna spend on a monthly sub. With PGR I almost have it all the months since its global release. And this is coming from someone who HATES gacha games and mobile games. But PGR feels different, also I play it on PC the moment PC client released. I'll continue playing it for years ,cause I feel like it just gets better and better.
Played it in august of 2021, been a hardcore player since. Community might struggle to cope with no hand holding and rage about it on main channel, but it's been a good cruising for me at least. I fully support those that make contents for pgr, and the story is getting better and better. With that, they're trying to make each character even flashier than the previous and I hate it LMAO!
Day one player here, pgr is the one and only gacha I've ever played more than 2 months consecutively, I still played the same account non stop since day one. The thing is, it has an actual combat system that makes it very fun, but is it as its peak? Absolutely not, I mean yeah, a lot of qol has been added over time, but the new characters are all too overpower to the point it ruins the game itself, for example lee has auto dodge when spamming basic atk and s during orb attacks while in hypermatrix, alpha has auto parry and a rotation that goes like "hold dodge, press ult, hold attack, repeat". So at the end, pgr for me is failing to provide characters that are challenging to use and competitive at the same time like it used to do with plume, garnet and almost every old character
I think the main problem with PGR is the early stages of the game. I would've quit the game because of the cringe story and characters with basically the same cardboard personality but Blanc's CW video showed what the game could be so I endured. Now that I'm lvl 100 I still think the same way but CW is cool though.
PGR is one of the most F2P games I've ever played, with almost no other games able to do that (except Azurlane). And yes, Kuro is a small company compared to other companies. But they did a better job of taking care of the players.
well, i hate it but is still understandable...its a company, they need any money they can get... and its better than genshin and even honkai impact in this aspect so...
Whatever flop kuro have been done, I'm still with pgr-cause I know,we are sailing on the right path with pgr. The improvement and dev hearing about player concern is all that matter for pgr future
Yes, PGR its a failure, it doesnt generate enough money as a gacha game (which is the purpose duh) and the rate of active users isnt increasing in big numbers either. The game is also way niche for a mobile game compared to games like Arknights (surprisingly) because the first impression of the game just sucks on release and in-game. The story doesnt have a hook at the start, the cool combat doesnt appear until much later and the events are strictly catered towards veterans and not new players. Lol They should have done the introduction like Snowbreak did, Snowbreak combat isnt as flashy or complex but its enjoyable because they keep giving you this sense of progression, different line up of enemies appear with each chapters introducing newmechanics to play around, in PGR that doesnt happen, you just walk through corridors, smash some buttons to beat some robots and you do that until chapter 8 btw
yeah, but but i prefer a kinda weak initial and strong final like pgr than a strong initial and weak final like snowbreak( that i quited for that same reason)
PGR daily missions: 30 BC currency, Each pull costs 250. Genshin daily missions: 60 primogem currency, Each pull costs 160. Very F2P friendly, much wow, much enjoy, much cope.
PGR pity: 100% my friend thank you for you effort as a F2P Genshin pity: best i can do is 50/50, too bad for you mate better luck next time or spend some money lol I'm gonna be honest PGR is far more F2P friendly than the other guy.
I will throw my tomato at PGR. I tried to play it at the EN launch. EN release was a sht show. They just literaly stole players gacha currency. The store was a tottal scam. Gameplay needs your concentration and skill (i'm skill issue's embodiment). Weapon banner exists, if I remember correctly. So considering all of these things plus remembering that game has only ONE chance to take off - PGR was a failure at that time. Well, at least for me. I don't understand to this day: why the fk did Kuro Games do that? They so confidently shot themselves in the leg, it just makes no sence at all. But at least people enjoy it now.
Played pgr for like a month or so and dropped it because combat was just not enjoyable - candy crush mechanic is shit, all the difficulty talking was a lie since never felt like its hard, and losing felt more like being unlucky, loging in and playing overall felt like a chore, story taste like a dog water and many more flaws. Tbf not surprised its dead on global, and from my perspective it isnt dead in cn only because they doesnt really care what to play unless its a gacha and theres tits.
@@guardiansoulblade2673 oh really, max difficulty is actually difficult? Thanks genius, totally makes sense, not like people were talking about overall difficulty when recommending a game.

Yeah pgr is only limited for a certain player based
PGR is a really good game, undeniably. I just hate the coating system, specially if you're a F2P and you want a skin. It sucks balls.
well, i hate it but is still understandable...its a company, they need any money they can get... and its better than genshin and even honkai impact in this aspect so...
didnt know that pgr jp release so close to genshin
no wonder the playerbase is so small there
definitely kuro fumble there
I love your voice

Me: i dont like the match 3 combo combat so....thats why i dont play
Fair enough. It's an aqquired taste and takes a bit to warm up to.
@@Peak_Antelope mobile version didnt help but honestly dont feel the pc version did any better
Whatever flop kuro have been done, I'm still with pgr-cause I know,we are sailing on the right path with pgr.
The improvement and dev hearing about player concern is all that matter for pgr future
Do a video on blue archive coming back from dead.
Arknights r6s second collab ignited my passion to Arknights once again
Yes, PGR its a failure, it doesnt generate enough money as a gacha game (which is the purpose duh) and the rate of active users isnt increasing in big numbers either.
The game is also way niche for a mobile game compared to games like Arknights (surprisingly) because the first impression of the game just sucks on release and in-game.
The story doesnt have a hook at the start, the cool combat doesnt appear until much later and the events are strictly catered towards veterans and not new players. Lol
They should have done the introduction like Snowbreak did, Snowbreak combat isnt as flashy or complex but its enjoyable because they keep giving you this sense of progression, different line up of enemies appear with each chapters introducing newmechanics to play around, in PGR that doesnt happen, you just walk through corridors, smash some buttons to beat some robots and you do that until chapter 8 btw
yeah, but but i prefer a kinda weak initial and strong final like pgr than a strong initial and weak final like snowbreak( that i quited for that same reason)
oh you play arknights, lol. mid
"every new character is guaranteed as long as you're playing the game"
Stop repeating this bullshit. It has been disproven already.
PGR daily missions: 30 BC currency, Each pull costs 250.
Genshin daily missions: 60 primogem currency, Each pull costs 160.
Very F2P friendly, much wow, much enjoy, much cope.
PGR pity: 100% my friend thank you for you effort as a F2P
Genshin pity: best i can do is 50/50, too bad for you mate better luck next time or spend some money lol
I'm gonna be honest PGR is far more F2P friendly than the other guy.
least braindead genshin player
But you can get featured character every patch unlike genshin tho
Damn, didn't know how shady kurogames was as a company. Makes sense why they chose such a brand name.
have you actually watched the whole video?
PGR has a fundamental flaw for a gacha game, it requires a modicum a skill unless you whel.
No amount of money will fix your skill issue, I thought we all knew that by now
Hate to burst your bubble, but it still requires skill even if you whale. Otherwise, you'll still get beaten by other players
nah... its all muscle memory of the combos... u want to be good at something without training, without studying, u never be good at anything bro
Tbf not surprised its dead on global, and from my perspective it isnt dead in cn only because they doesnt really care what to play unless its a gacha and theres tits.
sound like skill issue
Please walk into Babel Tower on max difficulty before you say the difficulty thing is a lie.
@@guardiansoulblade2673 oh really, max difficulty is actually difficult? Thanks genius, totally makes sense, not like people were talking about overall difficulty when recommending a game.
@@pakkleewang8723 sounds like it doesn't correlate with skill when the game is a chore
lets chill guys.. always remember what rexlent say to the people with skill issue and trying to blame the game
"get gud"
hack and slash doesn't go very far
